| Our tour gude was Renee. She was very knowledgabe of the area as well as the history. She gave great recomendation for the areas to check out ofr the rest of our stay, and showed us very interesting things during our 3 hours with her. We came w/ a group for a 40th birthday and she made it fun for us. The trip would not have been as memorable w/out this piece of it. Would always recomend this and would consider doing it again w/other people when we come back
Thanks Renee. You are great. Beth, Nick, Dee and DL 12/19/08 the fabulous foursome!!!! |

| This tour was a great way to see the French Quarter. We got a great overview of the city's history and got to eat some great food to boot. Our guide Randy was great at giving us both the stories and the legends surrounding the landmarks. |

| The Culinary History and Tasting Tour was the most informative and enjoyable event on our week-long trip. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about New Orleans, and knowing the history of the food we were eating and people and traditions from which it derived made it all the more enjoyable. Our tour guide was personable and extremely knowledgeable. The stops for tasting each added another dimension to the tour. Getting to have a guided experience through the Mardi Gras rooms at Antoine's was a rare treat. We would go again in a heartbeat! Our advice is to take the tour as early in your trip as you can. You will want to go back to the tasting locations for a meal. |

| We were excited by the well-rounded variety of resturants on the tour as well as the sampling of food at a number of them. Randy, our tour guide was well versed on the city and resturant history as well as New Orleans and its cuisine. There is a moderate amounts of walking, so be prepared for that but not more than the average tourist can easily handle. We enjoyed the three hour tour and our intimate tour group of ten and would recommend it to anyone. |

| We weren't really sure what to expect because we had lived in South Louisiana for many years and visited New Orleans many times before. We not only learned so much we didn't know but enjoyed how our tour guide presented it. We have already recommended it to several friends who live in the area and who work in the restaurant and tourist business because we think locals and out-of-towners would enjoy it equally. Thanks to Randy, our guide, for a very enjoyable time. |

| Enjoyed the tour, with the exception of interrupting a private party. Be prepared to be shuffled around depending on the quantity of business when touring the inside of venues. Guide was delightful and gave informative answers to questions....and was well informed regarding the culinary history of the area. |

| Wonderful combination of learning and eating--what could be better. The tour with Randy was great fun, informative and interesting. My understanding of New Orleans history and culture went from near zero to 8/10 in a couple of short hours. Don't expect a full meal as the food portions are smallish but very tasty. |
