| The tour guide was Renee and she appeared very interested in the subject matter. I esp. liked how local companies and foods were highlighted. The tour order made sense in terms of food tastes. The only thing missing was a cafe' |

| Seeing the dining rooms at Antoine's was pretty neat. The cooking demonstration and the lady doing the cooking was the best part of the tour. Tujague's was very interesting. I liked the variety of places we visited and the samples we had to eat.
The visit to Brennan's was rather flat-just sitting in an upstairs dining space. That is one of the very special restaurants in New Orleans, and it seems something more should have been involved. |

| We had a great time on the tour, which was well-organized and ran smoothly. I like that our guide immediately sat us down in the Hermes bar, so we didn't have to stand in a gaggle in the street waiting to start. This also gave us a chance to order a drink in a to-go cup, an experience that would be illegal in my hometown! George, our guide, was knowledgeable and affable. You could tell he loved his adopted home town, and loved food. I also appreciated that all the servers were so welcoming and pleasant. We had a mix of food and restaurants and got to dabble in both to an extant we couldn't have achieved on our own. This tour served as lunch AND supper - we were so full we couldn't finish the delicious red beans and rice. |

| The tour is about 5 stops with alot of history talks in between on the way to places. The guide we had was amazing and a great chef himself. We visited Antoine's, Brennan's, Leah's Candy, a Cooking Store (learned to make a rous (sp?)), and the second oldest restaurant in the city. Oh yea and La Divinia and Pirates Alley.
We sampled beef brisket, gumbo, shrimp salad, muffelatto, rum cake, and of course red beans and rice.
Everything was delicious and hearing the great history of the old restaurants of the city made for a GREAT day.
Great for couples. |

| The concept is great, and the samples were wonderful. The tour guide meant well, so I honestly feel bad saying this, but I would not recommend this tour. She was hard to follow, her stories were incomplete, and she had no presence at all. I would have left the tour early if I didn't know that there would be more food samples, which were good. The samples were tasty and generous, the actual presentation just needs to be completely reworked. |

| The tour taught us about history of the area and the history of food in LA. Our guide was great and the people we met on the way were eager to teach. First class and that is something for foodes from Portland, OR. |

| Tour guide was great and was very knowledgeable on her subject. The places toured were awesome and had great food. There was more than enough to eat. Just recommend that you bring drink with you as they don't have it along the way. |

| The whole idea of a walking culinary tour was a good idea -
in as much as the whole city of New Orleans centers around
food and music, right?
Though not as animated as one would expect a "tour guide" to
be, Sally was enjoyable, delightful and knowledgeable.
The tastings were delicious and more generous then I expected!
THANK YOU for a wonderful afternoon! |
