We enthusastically recommend this tour, especially if you can get the owner as the guide. She is a native New Orleanian and also teaches history at a local college so she knows her stuff!

Our tour guide was fantastic. Her name, I think, was Renee Borden. She did the most incredible tour I have ever been on. Would highly recommend it!!! And, would even do it again!

Well worth the ticket price, this tour combines history, food & local colour into three fun hours. Our guide Renee was both informative and entertaining, and the tour was well-paced. The samples are tasty: just enough to keep you going without making you sluggish. Comfortable shoes & a bottle of water are a must.

Renee Dodge did an absolutely fantastic job of running the tour. She is witty and very informative. The food tastings really reflected the cuisines of New Orleans. The short stroll around the French quarter allowed her to provide a good historical background of how the various food cuisines evolved. I would recommend this tour to anyone -- but beware, in the summer the walking around in the heat and humidity might not be for everyone.

My family and I had a wonderful time. Not only was our tour guide informative, he was fun to tag along with. I did not hear from my daughter 1 time that she was "bored". And this is a feat. Our time in Louisiana was short, but I'll always remember our time in New Orleans.

Listen to the history of the city while you eat! I'm not a foodie or a history buff, but I loved both aspects of the tour. The only reason why I wouldn't "enthusiastically" recommend the tour is it is a lot of time standing.

I highly enjoyed this tour. I learned a lot about the history in New Orleans as well as really understand the cuisine and the difference between Creole and Cajun. The food samples were ideal and provided a good variety. If you enjoy cooking or eating, you really should take this tour.
