My friend and I love food, and this was a great way to experience a bunch of different kinds of traditional cuisine and experience history of New Orleans also!
Lots of walking involved, too, which helps work through the fullness of all the tastes |

thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the tasting-the culinary history of New Orleans is particularly interesting-my only suggestion is a print out of the restaurants that we attend-I only remember several of the restaurants we toured and their locations so I won't be able to return to some of them or recommend them-their names aren't always readily visible on the front of the establishment and a chronicle of where we attended would have been nice to take with me-also although bottled water was recommended I assumed this was in case you got hot-I didn't realize only one of the stops would have beverages to purchase-I think you should make it known that drinks are not served with most of the tastings so people can plan accordingly
our guide was entertaining and informative |

We loved our tour with Candy. She was very knowledgeable and has a true love for the city, the food and the people. It was nice to sample some of the famous dishes (all delicious) but the behind the scenes access to some of the landmarks in NOLA was a highlight. Even if you were do dine in these establishments, you wouldn't see what we got to. Very friendly people at every stop even on a very busy day (parade season already going). I'd recommend highly recommend it, especially our kind and pleasant tour guide! |

My husband and I really enjoyed the tour. The brief history behind the food culture, restaurants and the tastings we enjoyed was fabulous. I would have also liked a handout that described the locals favorite restaurants and dishes, even ones we didn't visit. But overall we enjoyed the experience very much. |

The culinary tour was wonderful! The guide, Ms. Kagan, was very knowledgeable about the city, restaurant and food history. I am a local and learned things that I did not know. The guide was also very personable and fun to be with. I would highly recommend this tour! The combination of visual and tasting was a very unique and enjoyable experience. |

Candy was fantastic and very knowledgable. We enjoyed it immensely. Only critique we would have liked to have seen Brennan's. |

Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable, and I learned a lot about the history of New Orleans as well as its inhabitants and cuisines. Touring the inside of some of the landmark restaurants was great (though a subsequent visit to one suggests that it is now thriving more due to its pedigree than its ongoing culinary quality!). Of course the tasting part was wonderful too--you just can't eat everything NOLA has to offer in a three day visit, so this was a good way to sample. |

Since it was our first time coming to NOLA, I thought a culinary tour would help us understand the menu and cuisine. This tour was outstanding and exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide was a chef himself, and explained the dishes so intricately that I want to try to make a few at home. At the sampling of sorbet at Divine, the impressive part was when the owner came out and talked to us and explained the handmade process. I would highly recommend this tour to all. Remember to wear comfortable shoes because you do go restaurant hopping! Enjoy! |

Got to sample several restaraunt fares. Helped us to prioritize the rest of our trip. And, it was fun! Our 14 year-old granddaughter even loved it. |
