Mary was our food guide and made the tour for us. The foods we tried were great and the history we learned was interesting. We did lose Mary at end of tour as the street was busy and we were the last out of tojaques and when we looked up she was gone. There was another group that lost her too. We walked to several cooking schools but she was not there. Would of loved to have tipped her and ask her questions. |

I cannot say enough good things about this tour! Anna Gonzalez was our guide and she did an amazing job. My sister and I had our own private tour, and it was our first trip to New Orleans. We learned so much about the culture of New Orleans, not only in respect to the cuisine, but historically as well. This tour was the perfect way to learn about the city. We were able to taste food at the oldest restaurant in New Orleans, Antonie's, and also had exclusive access behind the scenes in the various intricate dining rooms and kitchens. All of the other stops served delicious food, and the cooking demonstration was an awesome part of the tour as well. I am amazed at everything I learned and would recommend this to anyone who is visiting New Orleans for the first time! |

The tour was amazing! Delicious sampling of local cuisine while learning about the history and different cultures that make Cajun and Creole cuisine. Thanks to Candy, our tour guide, I now know the difference between the two. Bringing my mother next year and will definitely sign up for this tour. |

Our Tour leader was a lovely older lady who knew and was known by most of the local population. She had a lot of local knowledge and was able to tell us a lot about the various restaurants and the food we were sampling. It was a great way to spend the day |

Great tour guide. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour. Lots of walking so beware. The guide is very accommodating and doesnt rush you. If you're allergic to shellfish let them know when you book. They can make arrangements for you to have substitutions. You will a lot more than just about food. You'll learn history about this great city. |

The tour provided much historical detail about each restaurant, but very little about recipe preparation. Food samples were good and guide was pleasant. Several stop were blantant opportunities to push tourist items. |

We enjoyed the tour and our guide was a wealth of knowledge. We were able to visit the behind scenes of some of the more famous restaurants within a short walking tour. At each location had an opportunity to sample the local specials. Made it well worth the small price we paid for three hours of fun. I would recommended it to anyone that enjoys food! |

What a great idea a culinary tour of New Orleans is!!! Genius!!! A combination of local history, touring the neighborhood, and the inside scoop on the best places to dine! Sally was our tour guide, and was very informative and charming, a true "southern lady." Got to sample things I probably would have hesitated to order such as alligator and turtle, and my shell fish allergy was cheerfully accommodated. I will begin my NOLA visit with this tour every time! |
