Guide did not provide enough nexus between historical and culinary facts--fortunately, other guests on the tour were able to fill in. Tasting portion was exceptional.

Not what I expected!

We did not expect that most of the tour would be conducted out on the street with people having to go around us. We could not even enter K Paul's Rest. I would have liked to have tasted the food there and especially at Antoine's (where we had nothing). The restaurant Petunia's (where we were supposed to get Gumbo) was closed. The pastry that we got at one of the restaurants was not a New Orleans dish and we received pastry and a praline BEFORE we got any real food (red beans, small muffaletta & a small piece of brisket). The bartender at Tujaque's barely acknowledged us and there were some drunk customers in there. Enough negative comments. The young man who conducted the tour seemed very knowledgable and was very polite and fun. The man at the New Orleans School of cooking was extremely nice and fun. He seemed to enjoy having us and had a nice assortment of N.O. products and was willing to answer any food related questions. I think this tour could be very nice with a few adjustments.

Quite formative, the guide was great. I had expected more tastings based on the advertising of the event, but would recommend it to others.

We had a great tour guide and loved all the places we visited. Tastings were great and such a variety of traditional NO foods.

My wife and I were extremely excited about this tour. I booked this tour for my wife as an anniversary gift. We loved everything about the tour except one thing... our tour guide's lack of compassion and time management. She was pleasantly informative about the history of the French Quarter, it's culture, and it's food, however, her biggest strength was her biggest weakness. She did not know when to wrap it up, think ahead, and adjust to the client (or one of the clients / my wife). We missed over HALF the tour history, which for us is an issue because we LOVE history and we thoroughly enjoyed what we did catch! It was like watching your FAVORITE movie and not being able to hear ANYTHING! She stopped and waited for us maybe twice. This woman is obviously top-shelf at what she does, however, a little bit of compassion and time management would have made this tour perfect. Just take into consideration, some people are elderly or disabled. This doesn't mean they can't walk long distances, just not as fast.

This tour was a good way to get a general history of the French Quarter in New Orleans as well as get a taste of local food at the best restaurants. The tour guide was fun and kept our attention the entire time. Thank you.

We would definately do it again. The food samples were delicious, the guide was knowledgable, and as always, the Quarter is fabulous.

Our tout guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour great fun. Not only did we get to see all the things but she paced the walking in the heat so everyone could keep up. Please don't change a thing.
