The Capitol Hill Culinary Experience

Really enjoyed the tour and the food served on the tour was yummy...the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly...my only observation/complaint was that it would have been really nice to have gotten something that told about some of the the food stops along the way (names of the potential restaurants because I know you change up from tour to tour) so we had a record of them and others. Got back home and tried to recall names of the restaurants and though I could remember the food, I couldnt remember the name of the restarant. Other then that...it was really a great day and I learned alot of good info about the area's history.

The tour was good. The guide very informative. The food was good. The only thing that was disappointing for our group was the actual location. I didn't mind but my friends thought that the tour was going to be nearer the actual capitol. Other than that all was good.

The food was very good. I like the different food groups. I plan to take all of your tours. This was my second.

We were disappointed by the tour guide delaying the start of the tour by 30 minutes to wait for a group who got lost. The arrival information stated to be on time or the tour leaves without you. We did not find this to be the case and did not like waiting that long to start our tour and tastings. We had a much better experience during our Greenwich Village tour a few years ago with Zerve. The historic tour of Capital Hill did not disappoint and the 4 restaurants on the tour offered us a good cross section of the variety of food available on 8th Street, NW. If you depart on time, it is an enjoyable tour to take in a part of DC that many tourist and locals like us have never experienced.

Our tour guide Sharon was great. The food was delicious. Fun to be in a group of people who were all enjoying the food and history. Nice way to spend an afternoon.

The DC Capitol food tour was excellent. Our tour guide Christopher was knowledgeable, personable, professional and gave us a well rounded, enjoyable and delicious food tour experience. We left feeling very satisfied and had a better understanding of the history and the flavor of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. I would highly recommend this tour.

I originally signed up for a different tour however there was a slight problem and they offered me this tour instead. I had a great time and enjoyed the food and company. The tour guide Chris was very knowledgeable about the area (turns out he has a background in history), and the restaurant were awesome. Enjoyed my self and will be going on another tour soon.

The first time I have ever done a food tour and I loved it! Chris was our guide and we learned so much about Capital Hill and LOVED the restaurants. It was my boyfriend and myself and one other couple so it was a pretty intimate tour. I would highly recommend to anyone going up to DC.

I really enjoyed the first half of the tour. During the first few walks and the first restaurant stop we learned a lot about the architecture of buildings in the neighborhood, the planning of the city of DC and even a little about the origins of the Indian dishes we were eating. Then it seemed like the information kind of stopped there? The last 3 restaurant stops were all tasty but there wasn't much talked about during these stops. Overall it was still a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon, to leisurely stroll through a neighborhood I'm not very familiar with and sample some tasty food.

Sharon was an amazing tour guide through the streets of Capitol Hill! We learned so much about the history of the area, the life of the neighborhood and the details of the culinary feasts in which we participated! The whole afternoon was so much more than we could have EVER imagined. See (and taste) DC like you have not seen it before!
