We enjoyed sampling food and learning a little area history along the way. The Indian stop was fabulous! The Salvadorian stop was surprising and also good. Levi's was not so good. There must be better NC bbq or soul food in area. Beware - available area parking has 2 hr limit and tour is over 3hrs. Overall, we had a good time and will try another DC food tour in future. |

Our group really enjoyed the Capital Hill Culinary Experience. We had a great tour guide who provided us with ample history and lots of fun fact about the food culture as well. I would definitely recommend this tour. |

My husband and I enjoyed the DC tour. Barbara, our guide, was knowledgeable, informative and shared many interesting stories and facts with the group. We tried several new ethnic foods that were new to us and thoroughly enjoyed all that was put before us. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone in the DC area! |

I did the Capitol Hill food tour on a Sunday afternoon with a small, miscellaneous group of 4 people, plus a tour guide, Barb. Barb was very professional, honest and fun to follow around. She gave much insight into the history and architecture in the Eastern Market region during the walk. We had three restaurant stops on our tour, with plentiful food and drinks at each location. I was initially afraid, being somewhat of a foodie, that the fare would be very conservative to appeal to a wide audience, but was pleasantly surprised to find that a variety of ethnic cuisines were served. Definitely worth the cost, and I'd certainly do another such tour in the future! |

For not much more than you may pay for a standard tour, you get to enjoy some excellent food along the way. The tour guide and owner were both very friendly and knowledgeable. The food choices were great. I plan on doing their other tours in the near future. |

I thought I had seen and tasted just about everything in DC. A new local for about 3 years, and this tour totally proved me wrong. Our guide Natalie was great, and really fun and outgoing. I tried so many delicious things, and loved the diversity of all of the meals. A true VIP experience that I highly recommend to any one even locals! DC Metro Food Tours...great job! Oh and you won't go hungry on this tour either :) A REAL rood experience! |

I originally signed up for a different tour however there was a slight problem and they offered me this tour instead. I had a great time and enjoyed the food and company. The tour guide Chris was very knowledgeable about the area (turns out he has a background in history), and the restaurant were awesome. Enjoyed my self and will be going on another tour soon. |

I was expecting a great sample of local food - which we definitely got, in abundance. I was also pleasantly surprised to get a thorough tour of the local architecture and its relevance to the local history. |

the capitol hill food tour basically tried food at four different places, all on 8th street. we would literally walk around the block then stop and eat. there was such a disconnect with the tour (pointing out historical notes among the neighborhood buildings then eat indian food). while the food was good, it was nothing special. I have had all the cuisine that was offered (indian, salvadorian, soul, american) and I did not feel like I got a "taste of capitol hill". I left a bit disappointed, although full. would not recommend to foodies. |
