This is the perfect way to get a sneak peak into the real Fells Point - from history; to architecture; to (of course) food! And AJ was the perfect guide to show us the ins and outs of the neighborhood! |

My wife and I had a great time with the two other couples that we were on the tour with as well as the guide. The food was fantastic. I was expecting it to be really seafood heavy since we were in Baltimore but we had only on seafood soup and the rest was a terrific mixture of cuisine from around the world. Our guide was a very friendly and pleasant man named Kevin. He was I think a better companion than historian though. That being said I would gladly go on another tour with him as a guide. |

What made this tour 5-star-worthy were the eclectic cuisine and ambiance of the five restaurants; the history, architecture, and overall flavor of the lively waterfront Fell's Point neighborhood; and a guide, David, who clearly loves Baltimore as much as he loves food. The restaurants on the tour--in order of appearance, Ze Mean Bean Café, Hungry Andy's, Tapas Adelas, One-Eyed Mike's, Todd Conner's--mingled seemingly old Baltimorean ambience and cuisine with more ambitious and exotic flavors, with plentiful servings ranging from Polish blinis to Spanish tapas to a fried PB&J sandwich.
Over 3˝ hours there was plenty time to linger at each stop, and plenty of time in between to glimpse Fell's Point's history and envision its future. Only four people took the tour that day (12 is the maximum), which made it seem more like a restaurant crawl with old friends than a guided tour. This was our first food tour and, assuming the other tours in the D.C.-Baltimore area are nearly as good, it won't be the last. |

The restaurants and food were great, it was nice trying different types of food and restaurants with different vibes. The tour itself could've been better, not a whole lot of information about the area, history, or restaurants. |

This tour was well worth it, as usual I was a little hesitant about these type of tours but my wife loves them, well we both had an awesome time and got to meet all the different people in our group, all interested in the story behind whats going on, and we got it and then some on this tour, can't beat it for the price, there will be enough food for you to eat, although we had a small snack later on that night, it was still a good amount of food, and with fun drink recomendations paired off with awesome local food, we loved it, the guide, and future guide in training were both very nice, informative, and helpful and that makes a huge difference, they loved doing what they were doing and it was easy to tell. |

Our tour guide Zack was great. He was very knowledgeable about the area, the history and places to eat. Zack answered any and all questions asked of him. He was very personable and made the tour fun. This tour is fantastic and the Fells Point area is really fun with great food and drinks. We recommend this for anyone that has a chance to do it.

We were disappointed with our guide's incorrect and slang-filled explanations of historic events.
He referred to the Revolutionary War as " quick and dirty". He said that the bombardment of Fort McHenry took place after the peace treaty ending the war had been signed. He seemed to be more interested in glibness than accuracy. We looked forward to the tour because our guide last year was so articulate and informative. |
