Fells Point Food Tour

I had an outstanding experience. The tour guide was so knowledgable and the food was delicious. The length was a perfect amount of time and I really enjoyed my experience.

It was really fun and the tour guide was great. The only thing was I would sometimes drif off when the guide was talking. I think structuring the history/architecture/culture in a more organized, yet entertaining, fashion would enhance the tour. Having said that, we had a good time and liked the diversity of the food and restaurants.

This is a great way to tour Fells Point. You will visit several establishments, talk to some of their owners and managers, and taste some wonderful food and drink. At the same time, the walk takes you through many of the streets of Fells Point and really gives you a good sense of the history and vitality of the place. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to have the menus of each of the visited venues readily available to us whenever possible as we sampled their fare. We came back a few days later and shopped in some of the little "out-of-the-way" places we passed by during the tour (and sampled a little more of the delicious food). We live in the area and we had never tried any of the places on the tour. It was a great way to explore our city and everyone in our group enjoyed it a lot. Thank you!

I figured with the amount of money, that we'd be getting really good food, the best of the local stuff. I know part of the $60/person went to the mediocre history tour which I'm more or less indifferent to. I was there for a "food hop" (as opposed to a bar hop) and to know what's the good stuff to eat in bustling Fells Point. I felt I had to eat the mediocre food given or I would have gotten hungry. We probably spent retail $25/person on food, if that. For example, when we got to dessert, a fried PBJ sandwich which actually tasted quite amazing (best thing on the menu), we were served a quarter sandwich. Really, you have to skimp on portions for something as cheap as PBJ? Second thing, which I have a HUGE beef about. Previous reviews talked about getting a great crab cake. If there is a food tour in Baltimore, there has to be a crab cake. We got, of all things, a chicken cake. It wasn't the worst thing to eat but how are you going to show off Baltimore food and not have a crab cake? For my trip I didn't plan seafood elsewhere b/c I thought I'd be getting it here. The guide seemed obliged to talk up the food. One course at the tapas restaurant was horrible chick peas, a mushroom dish and a very plain meatball. If you are a TRUE foodie, I recommend you pull out a smart phone, get on Yelp, walk the area and do your own food tour. It will be cheaper and taste much better. (p.s. afterwards we got a dog from Stuggys - pretty amazing)

We had an excellent tour guide name Sharon who added to the wonderful food tasting experience. She was knowledgeable and had a great personality. We were sad to say goodbye after the tour. Sharon made our trip to Baltimore memorable!!! She is an quite an asset to your company! We absolutely loved the variety of restaurants and food. It was a perfect way to show the different dining experiences available when visiting Fell's Point. I would recommend to all!

not a bad way to spend a couple of hours running around fells point. group dynamic makes all the difference though. and if you have a decent appetite, don't expect to leave full

While we are locals of long standing, there were places on the tour we'd never been and discussion throughout was fascinating. Knowing something about town already only heightened the experience for us.
