With Christian leading our small group of four, we had an informative and tastey sampling of Georgetown, learning many historical tidbits between bites. Our first stop at Cafe La Ruche was delightful. The owner was personable and accessible, first describing the history of the restaraunt and then the food we were about to sample; talapia topped with the interesting combination of ratatiouille and bernaise sauce - delicious! Our three remaining food-stops were interesting and tastey but without the welcoming panache of Cafe La Ruche. Christian was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, gladly answering questions and setting a comfortable pace. While I wouldn't rate any of the food as outstanding, it was all good and the tour was a great overview of beautiful Georgetown. |

Not what I would classify a foodie tour.

First stop was exceptional, food was great, owner chef interaction was what we were hoping for. The rest of the locations just did not feel welcoming and the interaction with the staff seemed forced. The food was ok; nothing spectacular. It did not give the sense that it was local flavor or history. The tourguide did a great job dicussing history, landmarks and locations. |

I went because of my friend. This is not my style of food. I come from a rural area and this is not my type of food or life style. It was a waste of time and money for what I saw and ate. |

The Georgetown food tour was one of the highlights of our trip to DC. Our guide, Christopher, was knowledgable and enthusiastic. The food was fantastic ! I would definitely not only recommend the tour, but I went on it twice to introduce new people to it. They loved it also!!! |

My boyfriend and I did the Georgetown foodie tour on a recent trip to DC and loved it! Our tour guide, Lauren, was knowledgable about the area and passionate about the restuarants and food. Our tour included 4 stops at different restaurants, all which served a variety of food. Each restaurant served a fairly large portion of food for a "tasting" tour- we definitely left feeling stuffed and like we got our monies worth!
All in all, it was a great way to meet other travelers (tour groups are kept to 12 and under), visit restaurants you normally wouldn't, and get to see the area. Would definitely do other tours! |

Robert was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable both about local history as well as the food establishments we were visiting and the cuisine we would have at each. My only disappointment was that the FAQ section of this tour had noted we would be making 7 stops and there were only 4 on the tour. My decision to take the Georgetown tour was based largely on that as I thought it would be more of a tasting experience with many different types of foods. That being said, the stops that we did make were great and the food was delicious. Plan on 4 hours rather than the 3-3.5 listed. |

Our guide, Robert, was very friendly and informative. We had been on a food tour in another city, and the Georgetown tour was longer, but it had less food stops than the one in the other city. It was a combination walking tour of Georgetown and a food tour. We enjoyed eating with people from other areas of the country during the food stops. |

We really enjoyed visiting the different restaurants with all the variety of foods that were introduced. We also loved the history surrounding our particular area ( Georgetown ), and enjoyed the many interesting insights introduced to us by our quide. ( He was wonderful )! When going back to D.C., we are looking forward to going on another food tour offered in a different neighborhood. |

This tour was absolutely fantastic!!! The food was amazing and an insiders view of Georgetown made it even more enjoyable. I went back to several of the places several times during the week: and continued to enjoy the wonders we discovered. Thank You for a wonderful afternoon, I look forward to visiting these restraunts again on my next visit. |
