| Great combination of historical information and food tastings. Look forward to booking the DC area tour in the near future. |

| The historical walking tour of Alexandria was wonderful. The majority of the food was fairly good, however it seemed that the food had been sitting out for sometime at 2 of the 3 restaurants (specifically Bilbo Baggins and Pita House). I would recommend coordinating the timing of food preparation with the tours, so that the tours are served food at an appropriate temperature. The lebanese restaurant was my least favorite due to the shabby looking interior, and the food was quite cold.
I truly enjoyed walking around town and hearing the historical facts--the guide was quite knowledgeable. Our guide said the walking was only 1.5 miles. However, I would question this estimate, and the walking may be a bit much for an elderly tour group.
Perhaps instead of three small meals, a full lunch and a dessert stop would be a better and more complete experience. |

| We really enjoyed this food tour. First, it was fascinating learning all about Old Town Alexandria. We saw the 1st house built there, learned about the architecture style, saw the re-creation of George Washington's house and learned the Potomic used to be 2 blocks closer but the people extended the land to accommodate more houses. Second, the food was FANTASTIC. We went to a wide variety of places I would have never thought to go on my own. The people at each restaurant were very nice and the portions were a really good size. This tour provided us with something different to do, we were able to get out & enjoy the weather, learn about a new place and eat some fantastic food. I would recommend this tour to anyone! |

| Because I am a local, maybe I am being too harsh, but this tour could be better.
Keep:
Bilboa Baggins
Christ Church
Union Street Tavern (change the fried oysters to something else not greasy and more universally liked)
Ditch:
the small museums
torpedo factory
Lebanese place
Add:
one of the house museums (like Alexander's house?)
one of the waterfront restaurants
the jelly cake was good, but not the grand finale everyone raved about. |

| We loved the food tour! We have been on a number of other food tours in the past, and this one was unique in that we were able to enter a number of historical spots in the city, like museums and historical homes. Christine was wonderful, and we would recommend this tour to any of our friends! |

| A fantastic way to find great places to eat, some interesting facts and try something new. The food was great, generously portioned and very varied and the guide filled us in on lots of information about the places we walked past. We also enjoyed that you get free time in a couple of places to look at displays and exhibits. |

| The enthusiasm of the tour guide was a real plus, without being too over the top. She clearly enjoys what she does and is able to share that perspective well. The food was really excellent; top quality, a broad range, we got to sample many things that we had never tried before. Even with the standard Virginia summer afternoon downpour, we didn't feel it impacted our enjoyment at all. Even though we are all local, several of us discovered products and eateries that we hadn't known were here. Really a fun way to get to know your fellow employees better, in a relaxed environment. |

| This was a good way for a fairly frequent visitor to get off the beaten track and enjoy some new and different experiences in Old Town. The tour is an interesting mix of food, history, architecture and fun. The meals are not gormet but there is plenty of it, the mix is pleasant, the quick service wonderful and you overall experience is good and worth the cost! That means a lot these days.
I would add a wine option to the meals.
Would certainly want to try the DC tour on the next visit. |

| Our guide, Deana, did a very good job conducting the tour. We were shown many interesting houses in Old Town and we were introduced to many interesting facts about them. The tour was well paced. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with a guide who was a professional who cared to do a good job. The restaurants that were chosen for the tour were interesting and the foods they served were very good. |

| We had a great time on the tour. The food was excellent and the history of the area was very informative. We'll definitely do the Capital Hill tour next. |
