| We enjoyed the tour. We are local to the area. There was lots of history which we did not know before and the food was good. A nice friendly small group. We liked the tour but think it would be even more interesting to tourist from out of town. |

| I recently went on the Old Town food tour, and I have to say this this tour was by far the best walking tour that I have ever been on!! This was the perfect amount of food, walking and history all wrapped up in one. I have been on other food tours before and this doesn't even compare. DC Metro Food Tours is a totally different exprience and I definitely felt VIP the whole time. Jeff our guide was excellent , and did such a fantastic job informing us about the local history and architecture and ofcourse the food!! All in all this was well worth the money, and I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone of all ages. |

| Our group enjoyed the tour very much. My only criticism: I liked when we were served our own individual plates, better than the one restaurant when we were serving ourselves from community platters. Serving pieces were minimal, and people (guide included) ended up using their own forks they were eating with to dish up additional food. Not very sanitary.
It was definitely a walking tour, requiring good walking shoes for the brick sidewalks and endurance for the distance covered.
I had done a tour like this in Boston before, and will look for additional ones in cities I'm planning to visit. It is a great way to learn about a city and visit places I might miss. |

| The tour was a great idea and I like the fact the groups are kept small. Its much nicer to get to enjoy the people you are with. The restaurants were great and so was our tour guide. Even though I have lived in the DC area, I had not been to Old Town Alexandria so it was a great way to get a feel for the city. Our tour guide went above and beyond explaining the history and the food, but also took care of us and gave directions too. |

| My friend and I spent a sunny afternoon on the Old Town Alexandria Food Tour. I have lived in the DC area for years, but had never really visited Old Town. I heard good things about the company and its food tours before and was excited try one for myself. It was an amazing time- The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, the route was beautiful, and the food was great! I loved that all the restaurants were local favorites, and that we got meals created especially for the tour. We even got to talk to the chefs!! Talk about Cool!
The town was charming. Our guide kept us out of the crowds so we could really enjoy the area. We learned stories about the people who lived here and even visited a museum and George Washington's church.
I highly recommend this tour. Can't wait to try the Capitol Hill tour! |

| My sister and I really enjoyed this tour... I live in DC, and she was visiting from Boston, and neither of us have ever been to Old Town, and I really felt like I been going there for years... The food was great and filling, yet well spaced out, and I really learned a lot about the area and its history during this tour. I have already recommended it to all my friends, and look forward to the tour starting up for Capital Hill in May...
Jeff was a great tour guide... so great that people were asking for his card along the tour, and apparently he looked like the man who knew it all, because random people kept going up to him to ask for directions, parking questions... People even stopped to hear what he was saying during the tour....
Needless to say... I highly recommend this tour...

| Tour was a great mix of the history of Old Town Alexandria and some tasty foods from area eateries. My usual limit before boredom sets in is about 2 hours but the 3.5 hours on this tour did not drag on. Guide was great at giving all the important details and answering any questions from the grou. Also very knowledgeable about the places we stopped at and the foods that were served us. If I find myself in the Alexandria area again in the future, I won't hesitate to sign up for this tour again. |

| This tour is well worth investing an afternoon while visiting Old Town Alexandria. Not only do you explore and hear fascinating details re: the most historic part of the city, you also discover hidden restaurant treasures that are staple destinations for locals.....things you likely would not experience as a tourist in town for a limited amount of time.
I recommend it! |
