| By walking to eating destinations in Old Town you learn about the history of the town along the way while simultaneously building up an appetite and suspense regarding your next destination. Food was tasty and, contrary to expectations, portions were not small. |

| DC Metro food tours is a great way to get to know Alexandria. The tour was organized and well planned. If you're looking for a new resturant to try, this is the perfect tour. It offers a delicious variety of foods showcasing Alexandria's locally owned resturants. Highly recommend, A+ |

| I loved the history, and I loved the different types of food! I enjoyed walking my way around this historic city and learning what made it so special. I liked the city before I took the tour but knew nothing about the history. Now it is even more special to me. This tour was a great value for the money and a good time besides! |

| My husband and I went on the Historic Old Town Alexandria food tour and had a wonderful time. We learned a lot about the history of the area, and the food was delicious! They even told us about the history of the restaurants and the food we ate. It was such fun! We would recommend this tour to anyone. |

| Our tour guide, Deena, was professional, well-informed, interesting and fun.
We loved the ribs and oysters at the Union Street Station and the food at our 1st stop; but were not too fond of the Mid-Eastern dishes. We would have perferred a bakery shop stop for dessert.
We learned a lot about Old Town Alexandria and its early inhabitants and enjoyed having the walking tour interrupted by restful, refreshing, food and beverage stops.
Would highly recommend this tour; it was one of the best values of our week-long trip. |

| We had such a fabulous afternoon learning about the rich history of Old Town and how our fore fathers spent their time creating a new life and government for the people. We especially enjoyed the local restaurants and specialty foods of the area. Each had a unique flare- very excellent tastes and service. We can't wait to go back to a few and try other menue items. The tour guides were top notch and well versed in the history and culture of the area. We highly recommend this tour for visitors and locals alike. |

| Although I have traveled the world and been part of many tour groups, I have never experienced a tour like this one. It was a wonderful afternoon with a unique combination of history and food.
The history of Alexandria came alive through the interesting stories and historical presentations by our tour guide. As we walked through Old Town, we virtually became part of the city and its past.
It was obvious that the restaurants were carefully chosen as excellent representations of an Alexandria the usual tourist does not experience. The owners of the restaurants took the time to explain a little about each restaurant's history and the food. The food itself was outstanding, and the portions were generous. I can't wait to go back and try those restaurants again!
The timing of the tour was perfect, and the the food couldn't have been better. This tour is clearly one of the best values in the DC area. Our tour guides, Jeff and Sharone, were delightful and made the tour so much fun. Don't miss out on this experience; I would go on the tour again in a hearbeat! |

| There were five of us, some seniors, who took this tour on November 7th and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The choice of restaurants and the food selected at each one was excellent. We especially liked the choice of small, owner operated places.
The commentary on the history and highlights of Old Town was informative and interesting. And it certainly helped that the day was warm and sunny! |
