We thoroughly enjoyed our Capitol Hill tour. Our culinary guide Jenn was so full of knowledge about history,
politics, economics, etc. It was never a dull moment! She was very skilled at tying in all the aspects of that
particular time in history. She certainly made the tour very interesting and delightful! The restaurants were
very well chosen and had wonderful cuisine. I would highly recommend this tour. |

Really enjoyed the tour and the food served on the tour was yummy...the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly...my only observation/complaint was that it would have been really nice to have gotten something that told about some of the the food stops along the way (names of the potential restaurants because I know you change up from tour to tour) so we had a record of them and others. Got back home and tried to recall names of the restaurants and though I could remember the food, I couldnt remember the name of the restarant. Other then that...it was really a great day and I learned alot of good info about the area's history. |

This was a great tour, Alex did a great job of showing us around Alexandria and the places we stopped at were fantastic. Makes me sad that I don't live in the area to try more dishes at these eateries. |

I took this tour in the fall with my brother and enjoyed it. Last weekend I had friends in town and decided to do it again so would certainly recommend. It's a great way to learn some history of the area and try out different restaurants and food.
I am pretty new to the area and my friends were from out of state. I'd say it's good for both locals and non locals. |

The tour was good. The guide very informative. The food was good. The only thing that was disappointing for our group was the actual location. I didn't mind but my friends thought that the tour was going to be nearer the actual capitol. Other than that all was good. |

Fun First Time Food Tour

This was my first food tour. I would have to say overall I enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to others. I think Food Tours although called "Food Tours" is not so much about the food but about the experience. I enjoyed the history that came along with the tour and learning about Old Town Alexandria. It was nice to visit restaurants that you would not normally consider. The food was good, I don't think I was blown away by anything, but it's just a fun experience. You will definitely be full, we visited four different restaurants. It makes sense to walk around for the tour in order to aid with digestion and make room for the next stop. We had a small intimate group and were able to talk with others. Our group was only 6 people and I think that was big enough. I think the tour was a bit pricey for the food you get, but paired along with the walking/tour of the city, I would do again. |

With Christian leading our small group of four, we had an informative and tastey sampling of Georgetown, learning many historical tidbits between bites. Our first stop at Cafe La Ruche was delightful. The owner was personable and accessible, first describing the history of the restaraunt and then the food we were about to sample; talapia topped with the interesting combination of ratatiouille and bernaise sauce - delicious! Our three remaining food-stops were interesting and tastey but without the welcoming panache of Cafe La Ruche. Christian was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, gladly answering questions and setting a comfortable pace. While I wouldn't rate any of the food as outstanding, it was all good and the tour was a great overview of beautiful Georgetown. |

First stop was exceptional, food was great, owner chef interaction was what we were hoping for. The rest of the locations just did not feel welcoming and the interaction with the staff seemed forced. The food was ok; nothing spectacular. It did not give the sense that it was local flavor or history. The tourguide did a great job dicussing history, landmarks and locations. |

I went because of my friend. This is not my style of food. I come from a rural area and this is not my type of food or life style. It was a waste of time and money for what I saw and ate. |

Overall, the food on the tour was great and the guides were very enthusiastic in pointing out sites on the tour.
The Fells Point food tour group met at a run down corner in front of the historic Broadway Market, needing more
renovation. I think the food tour should meet somewhere more appealing and suitable for a first class food tour, which it is. Most of the stops were appealing and the guides did a great job showing us Fells Point. Most of the food was very good, some great. The highlights for us were the tapas restaurant and the Polish restaurant as well as the fried P & J sandwich for dessert at our last stop. |

The Georgetown food tour was one of the highlights of our trip to DC. Our guide, Christopher, was knowledgable and enthusiastic. The food was fantastic ! I would definitely not only recommend the tour, but I went on it twice to introduce new people to it. They loved it also!!! |

I went with a friend on beautiful April day and the tour lived up to all of our expectations! Our guide Leah was friendly and funny and informative, and we learned some cool things about local DC history. The food was phenomenal at all the four places we went and I definitely want to go back for full meals another time. The people in our group were really diverse as well, and service at all the places went very smoothly. Overall, fantastic time and I'd enthusiastically recommend any fan of food and local history. (They also made great accommodations for the one person with peanut-allergy on the tour - make sure to let them know ahead of time!) |

My boyfriend and I did the Georgetown foodie tour on a recent trip to DC and loved it! Our tour guide, Lauren, was knowledgable about the area and passionate about the restuarants and food. Our tour included 4 stops at different restaurants, all which served a variety of food. Each restaurant served a fairly large portion of food for a "tasting" tour- we definitely left feeling stuffed and like we got our monies worth!
All in all, it was a great way to meet other travelers (tour groups are kept to 12 and under), visit restaurants you normally wouldn't, and get to see the area. Would definitely do other tours! |
