This was our first food tour in Washington D.C., second overall (South Beach, Miami was the first). The 3.5 hour Sunday tour was comfortably paced and food was plentiful along the way (it helps when the D.C. weather is favorable). Our tour guide Christopher was very knowledgeable in both the food and history of the D.C. area. The tour was small allowing time for many questions amongst the group. The tour is highly recommended and well worth the time commitment. Word of caution...be prepared to walk. |

The combination of a historic tour of Alexandria and sampling from four establishments was absolutely fabulous. And the weather could not have been more perfect. Our tour guide, Ada, was phenomenal. The amount of food was just right for lunch - would have been disappointed if it was dinner. The variety of food was interesting - all very tasty. Taking us off the primary road of King Street helped us better investigate the Alexandria area in comfort. As a first time visitor to Alexandria, highly recommended. I would not recommend children - definitely an adult only activity. |

My husband, brother, and I have been on other food tours and had high expectations from that experience. This was not a horrible tour, but since all 3 of us are in our mid 20's we were more interested in the food. That being said our tour guide was great and we did learn alot of interesting info about Alexandria and the buildings there. |

I'd read good things about our guide, Ambi, and she certainly lived up to the hype. Very personable! The whole thing was really fun, the walking actually wasn't so bad, and the amount of food was more than expected. I felt almost full after the first stop. My only wish is that we could have gone into some of the historical buildings Ambi pointed out rather than just walking by them. If you're on the fence about the price, I recommend you try it just this once. You won't be disappointed. |

Our tour guide Zack was great. He was very knowledgeable about the area, the history and places to eat. Zack answered any and all questions asked of him. He was very personable and made the tour fun. This tour is fantastic and the Fells Point area is really fun with great food and drinks. We recommend this for anyone that has a chance to do it.

Zach began our tour with pierogi at Ze Mean Bean Cafe and friendly helpful conversation. He could answer all questions we had recommending restaurants for any taste preference. He seemed to know everything and many of the people we passed along the way. We were entertained with historical Fell's Point stories just long enough between restaurants to provide enough room to enjoy the next sample. This is a great choice for an afternoon and I look forward to visiting the restaurants again. Go Zach!! |

The weather was lovely for a walking tour of Old Town and our guide, Mary Elizabeth, was very nice and shared lots of her personal knowledge about the area. We stopped at four restaurants for some delicious food and at the last one tried for the first time ever the popular jelly cake which was so good. Our relatives from Canada really enjoyed themselves as well.......we had all gone on the tour of Georgetown last Oct which we really liked too. Definitely recommend any of these tours since you learn alot about each area, plus get to enjoy some really good food. |

My husband found this tour while searching on Trip Advisor for things to do in D.C. and based on reviews, we decided to give this tour a try. I didn't know what to expect and I am by no means a food lover -- but this tour was one of the highlights, if not our favorite activity, during our trip. Our tour guide, Mary, gave excellent history of old town and we stopped at charming restaurants that I otherwise would not have gone to. The food was excellent and the history/sights were superb. I would highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a relaxing way to spend an afternoon learning about history and tasting great food! |

We enjoyed our tour and our guide - Sharon. She was very informed, an easy manner and very engaging. The range of cuisine was excellent and enabled us to try a variety of restaurants that we wouldn't have otherwise visited. The architecture of the neighbourhood and the stories behind it all was fascinating and Sharon did a wonderful job in delivering the information in small enough bites for us to absorb and remember (at least most of it). Visiting the small, locally owned restaurants and trying multiple small meals was wonderful and very, very filling. We would recommend this tour to those who like to learn by hearing rather than reading it all in a guide book and a unique way to try the locally owned restaurants. It was a very easy walk and seemed quite well paced. |

This was a great experience more than I expected the tour guide Roxanne was very upbeat and kept the tour interesting with all the facts she provided about the history of Dupont circle. One thing I liked was each restaurant we visited was waiting on our group and service was very quick bring your appetite and you wont be disappointed. I will definitely try another tour with this company very soon |

What a fun tour this is! I thought I knew the area, but we went to 5 places that I'd never been. All of the food was outstanding. Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. It was a causal, laid back tour, but we still saw everything. My eleven year old asked to do this for his birthday. He loved it. Everyone went out of their way to make him feel welcome on a tour of adults. |
