Take a walk through historic neighborhoods. Find great food and learn from an expert on historical restoration. The food was plentiful and excellent. Sharon was the best! Don't miss this tour on your next visit to DC.

A must-do tour while in DC!

While DC is filled with history, Capital Hill sets itself apart with great political, military and food interactions. Sharon has great knowledge of facts and architecture as well as knowing her neighborhood. She was a delight to follow around for the afternoon, and I bet that she'd still have us there if time weren't a factor.

Loved the history

As a local, I learned so much about the area that I walk around in all the time. The food was delicious and provided a good variety but I really loved all the stories and history I learned as we wandered from stop to stop.

We visited DC in June. We did the Alexandria Dine Around Tour. We really enjoyed the evening and the food, for the most part, was delicious. We learned so much more about the area than we would have ever learned without doing the tour. I would highly recommend this tour to others.

Tour was too slow moving, did not care for second restaurant at all. It was boring and way too hot.

Very good tour of the city. A lot of history and good food. I would go again to a different area using the same company

Super afternoon in Old Town Alexandria!

Three very old and dear friends were visiting from upstate NY. We had done a similar food tour in NYC a few years ago. We all agreed this tour not only met but exceeded our expectations since we were provided with interesting and historical facts about Old Town AND were able to be seated at each restaurant on our tour. We were not rushed and we were well hydrated at every stop. Food was quite good and there was plenty of it for the cost of the tour. It was tons of fun! Thank you.

We all enjoyed the tour very much. The restaurant choices were great & we tried food that we may not have tried on our own. Our guide, Sharon, was excellent. She was very knowledgable of the area & the history. We not only sampled different foods, but really learned alot from her.

Amazing

First we had no idea what knowledge we were going to gain, Living in Northern Va. and having had visited D.C. plenty of times I felt like all the other times were wasted. Our tour guide was Sharon and she was unbelievable and a walking and talking history book. ( a book really could not touch her) Well known in the area I felt like we were with a movie star. I must say we were expecting small meals, boy were we wrong, I was so stuffed but a great stuffed. I loved, loved, loved this tour Sharon made it first class.

It was really fun and the tour guide was great. The only thing was I would sometimes drif off when the guide was talking. I think structuring the history/architecture/culture in a more organized, yet entertaining, fashion would enhance the tour. Having said that, we had a good time and liked the diversity of the food and restaurants.

Georgetown VS Old Town tours
Sat, Jun 4, 11   3:00 PM Eggleton Female Unspecified Local Group of Friends
The Georgetown food aspect of the tour was better than the Old Town food aspect of that respective tour. The history shared in Georgetown tour however does not and maybe cannot, compare tot that old town Alexandria. Summary: Love food - Georgetown, love history - Old Town! - Both EXCELLENT though!

Our group really enjoyed our tour of the Fells Point Area. Our tour guide Michael was entertaining and very knowledgeable of the History of Baltimore/Fells Point. The food was very good. We can't wait to go back to dine at a few of the restaurants. Highly recommended.
