Our Old Town food tour was fantastic! The food was fantastic, and our guide (Ada) was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun. Plus, who can complain about a sunny, 60 degree January afternoon? |

We loved our tour and our tour guide who was knowledgeable and friendly. After the first two stops I worried there would be too much food, but all the stops worked well together and the walks between stops with the neighborhood history spaced out the dining perfectly. I brought along my 11 month old son in his jogging stroller and it went well. Highly recommend this experience. |

I originally signed up for a different tour however there was a slight problem and they offered me this tour instead. I had a great time and enjoyed the food and company. The tour guide Chris was very knowledgeable about the area (turns out he has a background in history), and the restaurant were awesome. Enjoyed my self and will be going on another tour soon. |

We had such a wonderful experience on our tour. Ambi was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable and had a very charismatic personality. The food was great at the different places we visited and it was really fun to meet some of the employees at the different restaurants to learn about the food. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone as it's an experience that most people haven't already done and it's a great gift to give someone! Your tour guide can make all the difference in the experience and I would recommend that you request Ambi as your guide as she is a blast and will make sure you have a great time! |

Our guide Theresa was fabulous. I'm still daydreaming about the scallops and couscous from her favorite restaurant Columbia Firehouse. Two words.. Ama..Zing!! Seriously. Im a tough critic. Im not fond of scallops or couscous but I
could have this dish over and over again. The scallops were meaty, sweet and perfectly browned and the couscous was cooked risotto-style in a beautiful creamy sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The Hubs and I were taking a brief vacation to Maryland for 2 nights .. We booked the food tour but later realized
it was in Alexandria, VA. We still decided to go. We had a great time and ended up staying in VA for an extra night. I would most definitely recommend this tour. You get to learn about American history, meet some cool people and have some divine food! |

My wife and I had a great time with the two other couples that we were on the tour with as well as the guide. The food was fantastic. I was expecting it to be really seafood heavy since we were in Baltimore but we had only on seafood soup and the rest was a terrific mixture of cuisine from around the world. Our guide was a very friendly and pleasant man named Kevin. He was I think a better companion than historian though. That being said I would gladly go on another tour with him as a guide. |

Our tour guy did a fantastic job showing us around georgetown. the food was great (italian, french, american, etc.) and the portions were perfect (not too big, not too small). There is a bit of walking involved so dress VERY warm and definitely bring a camera! |

The first time I have ever done a food tour and I loved it! Chris was our guide and we learned so much about Capital Hill and LOVED the restaurants. It was my boyfriend and myself and one other couple so it was a pretty intimate tour. I would highly recommend to anyone going up to DC. |

Christian, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the area and it's history and had tons of interesting stories / legends to share. The food was incredible at every stop. Loved how well we got to know the area too, by taking us down neighborhood streets that we otherwise would never have checked out. |

My husband and I gave this foodie tour to each other for a Christmas gift. Coming from the suburbs of Northern Virginia and never done one of these before, we were excited to have a date night. It was one of the coldest days of the year and it added to the enjoyment since our tour guide, Roxanne was totally knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat and great guide in explaining all the food and history of the area. She walked us around the area, spoke about the history, answered any and all questions from us and going into each warm restaurant tasting delicious food, only made the experience that much more enjoyable. We read the other reviews and they were correct - we were stuffed and full by the time we finished. It was a great way to enjoy the holidays and I would recommend it highly! |

We enjoyed the Georgetown tour a lot. Our guide Christian was both friendly and informative. The tour is not an in depth historical tour, nor is it a real "foody" tour, but rather an interesting mix of both. We visited five restaurants, eating one dish in each - two were very good, two were good and one was ok. I think it was worth the money and filled an afternoon in this pleasant area of Washington DC. |

Good amount of food sampled at great restaurants, the time goes very quickly. Our guide Roxanne was knowledgeable and very conversational. We will be going on many more tours of the various neighborhoods. Be weary of the cold if you venture out during the winter - dress warm. Recommend this as a guaranteed good time. We checked out the DC Improv after to finish the great day. |

I really enjoyed the first half of the tour. During the first few walks and the first restaurant stop we learned a lot about the architecture of buildings in the neighborhood, the planning of the city of DC and even a little about the origins of the Indian dishes we were eating. Then it seemed like the information kind of stopped there? The last 3 restaurant stops were all tasty but there wasn't much talked about during these stops. Overall it was still a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon, to leisurely stroll through a neighborhood I'm not very familiar with and sample some tasty food. |

Having lived in the DC area for 11 years now, I was impressed with the variations of different restaurants and historical context around Georgetown. I am a big eater and I was even quite full by the end of the tour. It was a relaxing pace and the tour guide Robert was friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend it to my friends/family! |
