| The tour was a great idea and I like the fact the groups are kept small. Its much nicer to get to enjoy the people you are with. The restaurants were great and so was our tour guide. Even though I have lived in the DC area, I had not been to Old Town Alexandria so it was a great way to get a feel for the city. Our tour guide went above and beyond explaining the history and the food, but also took care of us and gave directions too. | ||||||

| My friend and I spent a sunny afternoon on the Old Town Alexandria Food Tour. I have lived in the DC area for years, but had never really visited Old Town. I heard good things about the company and its food tours before and was excited try one for myself. It was an amazing time- The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, the route was beautiful, and the food was great! I loved that all the restaurants were local favorites, and that we got meals created especially for the tour. We even got to talk to the chefs!! Talk about Cool! The town was charming. Our guide kept us out of the crowds so we could really enjoy the area. We learned stories about the people who lived here and even visited a museum and George Washington's church. I highly recommend this tour. Can't wait to try the Capitol Hill tour! | ||||||

| My sister and I really enjoyed this tour... I live in DC, and she was visiting from Boston, and neither of us have ever been to Old Town, and I really felt like I been going there for years... The food was great and filling, yet well spaced out, and I really learned a lot about the area and its history during this tour. I have already recommended it to all my friends, and look forward to the tour starting up for Capital Hill in May... Jeff was a great tour guide... so great that people were asking for his card along the tour, and apparently he looked like the man who knew it all, because random people kept going up to him to ask for directions, parking questions... People even stopped to hear what he was saying during the tour.... Needless to say... I highly recommend this tour... Thanks so much jeff for a wonderful experience.... | ||||||

| Tour was a great mix of the history of Old Town Alexandria and some tasty foods from area eateries. My usual limit before boredom sets in is about 2 hours but the 3.5 hours on this tour did not drag on. Guide was great at giving all the important details and answering any questions from the grou. Also very knowledgeable about the places we stopped at and the foods that were served us. If I find myself in the Alexandria area again in the future, I won't hesitate to sign up for this tour again. | ||||||

| This tour is well worth investing an afternoon while visiting Old Town Alexandria. Not only do you explore and hear fascinating details re: the most historic part of the city, you also discover hidden restaurant treasures that are staple destinations for locals.....things you likely would not experience as a tourist in town for a limited amount of time. I recommend it! | ||||||

| We had a wonderful time. Jeff was very personable and knowledgeable. The resturant selections were varied and there wasn't a thing served that I didn't like. I will highly recommend this tour to others. And will definitely take the Capital Hill tour when established. | ||||||

| This wonderful tour fulfilled many of our interests. History, architecture, walking, meeting new people, trying new restaurants, and trying new foods from other cultures. The guide was quite knowledgeable and accommodating. We toured with our 18 year old daughter who enjoys most foods, and then our 16 year old son. He is a burger and fries guy. To our amazement he not only tried the foods but enjoyed them. You will not go hungry, plenty of food for everyone. Highly recommend not having lunch, but rather have a late breakfast. Enjoy yourself. | ||||||

| I highly recommend this walking food tour of Old Towne Alexandria. I not only learned a lot about the city that I live near, but got to become familiar with a few really excellent restaurants. The tour guide was well organized, educated on his material and made it an excellent afternoon! | ||||||

| we walked around the most gorgeous little town, and listened to our tour guide telling us about history of those very old houses, it's very interesting, and food tasting is not just a bite or two from here and there, it's actually a sit down meal, and after 3 of them, believe me, you will get full. I think it's a very pleasant tour. | ||||||

| We attended the tour with 6 other people. The tour guide was informative, kind, and friendly. We enjoyed all the food and when the tour was over we felt like we'd eaten a LARGE meal. The "samples" were not what we'd consider samples, but more like meals. We did a food tour in NYC recently that did not have as many "sit down" meal samples and the samples were much smaller! We would highly reccommend this tour! | ||||||

| My husband and I participated in a historical tour of Old Town which to our surprise, included stops at four restaurants/shops. We both agreed that highlights were a visit to Christ Church, the Torpedo Factory, which included the Archeological Museum, and visits to restaurants that were not on King Street which we wouldn't have known about had it not been for the tour. Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to gain knowledge about Old Town and spending a pleasant afternoon sightseeing and tasting delectable foods! | ||||||

| I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested the History of Old Alexandria. There is quite a bit of walking so come prepared. We got to sample a variety of different dishes which some of us in the group liked and some disliked...but that was the fun of it...trying out new foods. I liked that you got to sit down in the restaurants and be served a tasting plate of the restaurants specialties. I would have loved to sample more foods though - but maybe that's just me. The historical part of the tour was more than I could handle because I was there for the food - but that was my husband's favorite part of the tour - he thought the tour guide was very knowledgeable and loved it more than the food. Overall it was a good experience and well worth the price! Thanks for a great time! | ||||||
