Hollywood Movie Tours!

Absolutely brilliant. If you enjoy movies and fun company, this is not to be missed.

Highlight of our trip to LA. Equally enjoyed by 53 year old me and my 17 year old son. Good mix of relatively recent (last couple of decades) and classic (50's-60's) movie selections. Seeing the actual clips of the movie scenes as you stop--the van actually stops (although you don't get out) at the locations and doesn't just drive by--at each location adds immensely to the experience. You also see a few stars' homes in addition. A fringe benefit of taking the tour is seeing beautiful LA residential neighborhoods--e.g., Hancock Park, Los Feliz--that you might otherwise miss, where the houses aren't behind hedges or gates. A bathroom break is provided mid-way through the trip, but that is actually the only negative thing I have to say about the tour. The break is at a McDonald's whose restroom facilities are poorly maintained and apparently frequented by street people. Suggestion to tour operator: please find another place for the bathroom break.

Interesting tour with movie clips shown in the van then looking out the window to see the actual building or location. My favorite was seeing the American Horror Story house. So cool.

My husband and I were visiting (from Minneapolis, MN) our CA friend and wanted to go on a tour that would show us movie locations. Our friend suggested we go with the same tour company that she had been on for the Dearly Departed Tour. We all had an amazing time; Brian Donnelly was engaging, fun, and genuine from the moment we arrived and I can't imagine there is anyone else as knowledgeable! My favorite part of the tour was seeing the "Murder House" from American Horror Story and how the DVD clips were perfectly timed with our arrival at the locations. Since my knowledge of older movies is somewhat limited, I felt I walked away with a new appreciation for Hollywood's history. The variety of movie locations from different movie genres is also very appealing. We fully intend on getting back to Hollywood and going on another tour, and we enthusiastically recommend anyone visiting or living in LA to go on one through the Dearly Departed Tours. You will be so glad you did!

I live in LA and I still learned tons about my neighborhood! Brian was very knowledgeable of Hollywood and Los Angeles. He was friendly and very approachable. I'm excited to the take the Death and Horror tour!

I went on this tour with my sister and brother-in-law and boy, did we love it! A family of 5 had cancelled right before we arrived, so we had the bus all to ourselves. Brian, our bus driver, was GREAT! Can't say enough good things about him. He was incredibly informative, knowledgeable about film and the LA area, and you can tell he's just a big movie lover. As a fellow film buff, this was so nice. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to check out some great movie locations, be led by a very nice and enthusiastic tour guide, and to anyone who wants to relax and see some of LA.

great tour guide, he made sure you got all the pics you wanted. He was very friendly and funny and tried to get the tour people involved. Went to alot of locations and was filled with alot of information

I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide was very knowledgable and the bus was comfortable. The movie clips added to the tour. My husband enjoyed the house from Grease and I enjoyed going by the bridge where a scene from Dead Again was filmed. Great tour!
