| I've known about Dearly Departed Tours for a long time.....read about it on findadeath.com. My (31 yr old) daughter and I have often talked about going on one of the tours. I finally bought the tickets for her birthday and we were both glad I did! Richard, our guide, was terrific. Chock full of information, funny, and very personable. He's also an incredible driver...navigating some of those streets is an art. Loved seeing & learning about many events and places I've always wondered about....and so much more! Highlights would be seeing the Rebecca Shaefer, Menendez, & La Bianca houses. Mixed in are also a variety of other celeb homes which was fun. So much history in Hollywood and Richard did a great job of sharing it. Lowlights would be........gee, can't think of a single one. It was a great day and let me say a great value. $40 for 3 1/2 hrs. of personalized, fun & interesting entertainment. I'm planning on doing the Manson tour in the near future. Two thumbs up! | ||||||

| I've always been fascinated by the history of Los Angeles and HOllywood and have researched many stories to play tour guide myself when friends come to visit. This tour was incredible because of how many places and stories it delivers across the city...Beverly Hills, Sunset Strip, Hollywood, Los Feliz...you get to see and hear so much and it's nice when you can sit back and let someone else handle the driving. | As a true crime buff, loved to see the sites of such famous tragedies, but I was also pleasantly surprised by the tours of neighboorhoods, celebrity homes, and other ephemera. Our guide Richard was very knowledgeable, personable and kept the information flowing, no small feat on a 3 hour plus tour. Bravo! | ||||||

| The tour was awesome - what can I say? My friend told me about it and since then, I was so excited about going on it. I was not disappointed in the least. I especially liked Richard the tour guide who kept us laughing and entertained by both sharing his knowledge, as well as his iPod full of facts, news stories and "scary music" - you will see what I mean. Thanks Richard and Deadly Departed Tours. I will eagerly await future tours! | ||||||

| The tour was definitely filled with a ton of facts about people and places all over the LA area. They also implemented brand new facts on current events. Overall a great experience! Definitely recommend it for both locals and tourists. Either would learn a lot. | ||||||

| We went on the Dearly Departed Tour on January 22 2010. For most of the tour, it was pouring rain which added to the ambience. Richard was our tour guide and he was great. This tour far exceeded my expectations with the highlights being the Menendez house, Michael Jackson's last house and the Lo Bianca murders from the Manson era. I thoroughly enjoyed all the stars homes as well as we navigated through Beverly Hills. I am looking forward to the second Dearly Departed Tour and would love the Helter Skelter tour. Keep up the good work, this is truly a great fun day. | ||||||

| Very enjoyable afternoon, informative, entertaining. Brian was a hoot, knows his stuff and had many anecdotes all along the tour. He made everyone feel at home. I would not recommend for small children, we did have one 11 year old on the tour, her mom was ok with it, and she asked some good questions. I enjoyed just seeing the sights, and the narratives about the locations gave me more info than I had expected, which greatly added to the tour. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in the topic, lots of fun sight-seeing, we even saw a celebrity out walking his dog!! All in all, much more than I had expected and I enjoyed every minute. I plan to take another tour by this vendor sometime in the future. | ||||||

| For anybody who is into the Manson case, or anything similar, I highly recommend this tour. Scott is excellent at what he does, and he was able to show pictures and video that I have never seen before, and I have been into the case for years! He definitely knows his stuff and the tour does not disapoint. | ||||||

| I brought my friend along on this tour after doing the 'graveline tour" years ago. That tour is still one of my all time favorite tours. I would recommend this tour to any friend, if they were into this genre of Hollywood history. I certainly think there is some room for improvement. I. Make a longer day out of it. (increased revenue for the company) 2. Incorporate some of the infamous cemeteries into the tour. 3. Possibly go to Brentwood and other parts of the city that have infamous stories. Still loved and enjoyed the tour. But felt it lacked some of darkness that I experienced on the graveline tour. Really did not care to see where Pretty Woman and Grease were filmed. Take me to the dark side. One awesome stop was the Frank Lloyd Wright house. Not only for the story but the house is a fantastic example of his work. Thanks JCH | ||||||

| I have lived locally all of my life and never been on a tour! My daughter and her friend talked me into going with them and I am so glad I did. This tour was very professionally done, and the tour guide was amazing!!!! He was so very informative and interesting! I would highly recommend it to anyone local or not!!! I plan to do more tours with this company. Before the tour we went to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and that was very cool also!!! | ||||||
