| My partner and I had limited time in Hollywood. This was our first visit and, having noted the tours while visiting Findadeath.com, knew this was a must-do. Our guide was prompt. As soon as the William Frawley site was pointed out, I knew it was the right tour. We both agreed it could have been longer, tho maybe only for enthusiasts like us. It helped us see some of Beverly Hills, Sunset Strip and other areas in a timely manner, more efficient than on our own. Though partial to the Silent and Golden Age, Iwas also happy to see the Janis Joplin, River Phoenix and Chris Brown sites, a good historical spectrum. Your format, with folders to consult during the trip, was effective. I'd check into your tours on a future trip. | ||||||

| My family loves everything about Hollywood, the Golden era to date. We had talked about taking this tour for the past couple of years and finally did it. I recommend doing this tour at least once. Our tour guide was great!! He added more to our tour than we expected. We drove to celebrity houses and even gave my daughter Johnny Depp's home address and showed her where he lives. Thank you for all the extras!! My family had a great time and recommend to everyone! | ||||||

| Our guide was amazing, he knew just sooo much and his enthusiasm was contagious. Being from overseas and of a slightly 'younger generation' I didn't recognise the names of half the celebrities talked about, bu it didn't detract a single bit from the experience. | ||||||

| Why should tourists have all the fun? I had heard about this tour and was interested to find out more about local history. Our guide Brian, was wildly funny and imparted information in a fun and interactive manner. This is obviously someone who loves his job. The van was very comfortable in terms of seating and cooling (it was a hot day out). Can't say enough about how much fun this was. Highly recommend! | ||||||

| Really great tour, a bit different and great to get away from the 'Maps of Star's Homes!' type tours. Just didn't know enough about the people discussed on tour, as many of them are American-only kind of celebrities. But if you're domestic or local, it'd be the best tour. And it's still good for those of us outside the States. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was not just a run of the mill this is this house and that is someone else's house. There were stories and details to go along with the locations. There were also books with pictures and audio recordings with related information that went along with the designated stops which was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the content, specifically the reality behind some of the "urban legend" type of information. We also found the tour guide to be quite personable, and he clearly enjoyed what he was doing. Some of the content was a bit morbid, so the tour may not be for everyone. However, if you're looking for something a bit different, it's a great choice. I would definitely recommend this tour! | ||||||

| Wanted to give my visiting sister a taste of Hollywood without playing tour guide myself. WOW! This tour did it ALL!! Not only did we travel around in a nice air conditioned van with wide windows for viewing, Richard, our tour guide, was the BEST! He is an awesome guide and REALLY KNOWS his stuff! He doesn't just rattle off a bunch of rehearsed dribble! Richard took our group to a few places that weren't even on the tour. We asked him where we might have a chance of a celebrity sighting and took his advice to stop by the Chateau Marmont for afternoon cocktails. Our jaws dropped when we were taken to our courtyard table and seated right next to Javier Bardem & Penelope Cruz!!! REALLY...I'm not making this up!! And we owe it all to you, Richard. Now I'm spreading the news and all of my friends can't wait to take the tour! :-) | ||||||

| I decided to book a tour for my friend's birthday - over the years we've joked about doing one. All I can say is that it was AWESOME! We had the best guide who shared interesting Hollywood stories and took us to sites I've driven by hundreds of times without even knowing the tales they had to tell. What a trip! | ||||||

| Brian was very personable and entertaining. He was enthusiastic about the material and very knowledgable. My wife was skeptical before the tour but she found it to be the highlight of our vacation to So.Cal. I would recommend this tour and I look forward to taking the other tours offered by Dearly Departed. | ||||||

| Brian is a great story teller and very entertaining character. It was scary how much he knew about all the stories and houses we went past. We had a great time, and it runs in a comfortable air conditioned bus, which is great considering it was quite hot outside. Definitely recommended! | ||||||

| This was the best tour that we took. Our tour guide was very good. Friendly, knowledgeable, funny and took his time telling us about different things. Highly recommend. If there is one tour you should take it is this one. | ||||||

| Uncomfortable transportation and poor viewing affected the ability of the 5 (average sized) adults in our party to enjoy this tour. We were sore and car sick after contorting our bodies to try to fit in the seats and to view sites. Actually saw very little and thought this was a poor value. | ||||||

| The tour was somewhat interesting. Not sure it really fulfilled its stated promise. We rushed through more interesting celebs and spent too much time on irrelevant details about lesser known people. However, what was the most disappointing was the van in which we were crammed. Before the tour even started, I couldn't wait to get off. Not only did my knees get rug burned because they were ground into the seat ahead of me but I couldn't see half of what was being shown due to the cramped conditions and poor window views. Half of our party ended up turned in our seats because we couldn't get our legs in. I was only able to view about 25% of the tour. Our driver/guide was a good narrator. Like a good tourist my party gave up $5 each person to the guide as was suggested by postings throughout the van. The tour is a novel idea and we tried it. | ||||||
