Dearly Departed Tours

I've been on this tour 6 times, every time there's something a little different! I take friends and family when they visit because not only is it fascinating it's the best way to see LA/Hollwood/Beverly Hills. I've also taken the Hollywood Movie tour and HIGHLY recommend both! You won't find anyone else in the area with as much knowledge as Brian, Richard, or Scott. Go now!

Great way to get an overview of LA 's classic sights and get some gritty, grizzly facts along the way! Took my 15 yr son and 30 yr old nephew both enjoyed. Might be a little longer than needed to be.

Our guide was fantastic...he talked a mile a minute and had so much information I felt like a zombie at the end of the tour. He was funny, informative, creative and seemed to have a lot of actor friends. That was exciting too. I wish I had taken notes because after I looked at the pictures I could remember which house belonged to whom and who died where. I would however do the tour all over again. I highly recommend it.

I go on this tour everytime I am in town. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and the owner is great as well. No stone is left unturned! I wholeheartedly recommend it. I have done several other tours and they pale in comparison to tis one

I had the opportunity to take the Helter Skelter tour and I thoroughly enjoyed it. While it's not necessarily for someone with just a passing interest in the story, there is some beautiful scenery to be viewed along the tour. Scott does a great job of improvising on the tour, and upon finding out some of the interests of other people in our group he went out of his way to show things related to their interests. I highly recommend.

This tour was so much fun,I would tell everyone to make this tour a must do while in Hollywood. We had a great tour guide and a great time.

He loves what he does. It's not just a job for him. This is quite refreshing and I really appreciated it. Very good tour.

Lots of laughs and very interesting combining the old and the new made it very worthwhile. Would do it again with maybe a new twist (nightime, different venue, etc.) All in all a good time.

I have always been interested in all things Hollywood and macabre. This tour gave me a giant dose of each. Richard was my tour guide and he really knew his stuff and then some. It was very timely with the more recent deaths included as well as the sites of death of Hollywood greatest legends. In fact, there was so much included that I want to take the tour again next time I'm in L.A., so I can remember more.

I have been on this tour at least 5 times with visiting friends from the UK. It is fun, interesting and informative, because we not only hear about "the dearly departed", but lots of other things are shown and told to us by the tour guides. The guides are extremely friendly and funny, and the buses are comfortable and just the right size to allow all the customers the opportunity to interact with each other (if they want to). So by the end of the tour everyone is on friendly terms, which adds to the enjoyment. I highly recommend this tour.

I'm a repeat buyer of this tour. I've also been on the Grave Line Tour when it was just Scott Michaels doing the tour. We had Brian as our tour guide this time. Brain is super friendly and very funny. He makes the tour fun just like Scott did on Grave Line. I highly recommend this tour over any of the other ones out there. I will be back later this year for the "Horror" tour!

This is the second time I have surprised a friend for their Birthday by taking them on the Dearly Departed Tour. It is so much fun (in a creepy way) that I recommend it to anyone who enjoys Hollywood trivia, drama and scandal! Brian our tour guide was amazing! He knew everything about everything, and had the best sense of humor. He made the tour so personal, informative and just absolutely great. The Dearly Departed Tour is so clever and different, it's pure genius!

Scott and Richard were wonderful! My daughter and I took the tour. I would highly recommend it to everyone. Worth every penny. You won't be disappointed . :)

So much better than your "typical" star or movie tour. The guys that give these tours are passionate and take you to some of the COOLEST locations used in famous and not-so-famous movies. Plenty of movie history as well as more current movies/TV shows. You will not be disappointed!
