Brian did an absolute fabulous job, extremely informative and he really made the tour fun....I highly recommend this tour. Our family loved it ...even my extended family member "Dave".

Our guide was well informed and gave an interesting and fascinating tour. It was exactly as we expected in a clean well equiped van. We stopped at the half way point to stretch our legs...take bottled water if it is hot out.

This tour has it all. You get to see all the 'regular' Hollywood sights, but you also get the seamy underside stories and locations. It really is s fun time. I've gone on this tour five times now, and it's always great fun.

The tour ended up being much more than just tragical history. Our tour guide Dave was very sweet and super informative and willing to answer any questions. We spent close to three hours going all around and got to see some amazing stuff. My favorite part being the witches cottage house, be sure to ask about it! Next time I'm in LA I'll be sure to do te Helter Skelter tour. Money well spent!

I took the Tragic History tour from DD last year and really enjoyed it. I was hoping that the Helter Skelter tour would be as good. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this tour for anyone who has just a casual interest in the topic. The tour guide is knowledgeable and obviously passionate about this subject but some of the sites pointed out are just inconsequential (or irrelevant) to the overall story. The tour is long, around 4 hours, and in my opinion should be cut down to a more manageable time. If you have read everything about the Manson family and are really interested in seeing everything then this is the tour for you. If you are just a little curious, take the other tour - it's way more interesting.

a great great tour for those who thinks outside the square. If you are into mysteries and history of Hollywood the Dearly departed tour is for you. Our guide Brian was very funny knowledgeable and attentive. Overall the stuff of Dearly Deaparted tours were very professional and easy to deal with!

Brian is a very entertaining and informative tour guide. He puts lots of energy into his tours and his knowledge is incredible on the local history and architecture. Just be aware that his tours go at least an hour past the scheduled time so plan accordingly.

The tour was alot of fun, the only thing that could be changed was when I called I was told to meet at Larry's book store than the email I received had a different address, I tried calling but you just get a voice message and I sent an email trying to find out the correct address but no on responded to my email and we ended up at the wrong address, we were lucky the other bus hadn't left yet there was another couple at the wrong address to. The tour guide was excellent he knew so much, we are taking the Helter Skelter tour next.

This tour was such fantastic value for money! we were in America for over a month, travelling to different states and doing the tours and this tour was hands down the best one we came across. the tour guide was so interested in the case and LA its self and every street we turned down seem to have so much history! even though the tour was long it was interesting and you could tell just how much effort and passion had gone into the presentation! the other great thing about this tour and how its been designed is that its not celebrating the murders or Manson it is simply telling the story. The small group made it ever better and everyone was encouraged to ask questions etc. i cant wait to go back to LA just so i can go on this tour again!

I would like to thank Scott for having the insight to make a tour for those of us fascinated with this particular case. I found this tour to be very informative and captivating. The tour really helps you re trace the events that happened on that fateful night while providing you with the actual locations and video footage of the events. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in Manson and a a look back at unique historical events. Scott was on time and prompt with our pick up and really immersed the group into the tour. I met some nice people on the tour and got to share a unique experience with them. In closing I would definitely take the time to check out this tour and enjoy yourself on a look back at the Manson Family and Old Hollywood
