Brian D is a good tour guide. Some of the info is mythical, which was definitely OK with us. Also, we felt like he gave us much more than we paid for, and broadened the scope of the tour, which we thoroughly enjoyed. His live of movies and music provided us with a wonderful afternoon.

The man clearly loves his job, and it really shows in the tour that he gives. Even if you hate all of the movies that make up the tour (you won't!) you'll find it impossible not to enjoy yourself. You'll see some memorable movie locations, hear plenty of cool stuff about Hollywood, and even re-enact some of the scenes whilst you watch them. Would recommend to any Hollywood visitor!

This is the second time I have done this tour with Scott and both times have been fantastic, informative tours about the Manson family murders. Scott puts his all in to these tours and if you have any interest at all on the subject I would highly recommend signed up.

Tour guide was very passionate!!

I was very impressed by this tour. I am interested in the Manson murders and have read several books on the topic, but was surprised to find that I learned some new information on the tour. Not only did I learn some new tidbits about the murders, but I also learned a little about Los Angeles during the time of the murders which was very neat. I enjoyed the tour guide as he wasn't pretentious about his knowledge of the murders. The tour guide asked for input at several times which was enjoyable as opposed to being lectured to from a historical high horse. I also enjoyed the vibe of the tour; there was music of the era playing, historical videos, crime scene pictures, and a documentary that all added to the ambiance. I thought this tour was incredible and I would definitely go again.

Our guide, Brian, was so passionate about the tour and his job and this is what made the tour so enjoyable. It was obvious that he was not just repeating a script that he had been given. I can highly reccomend this tour, you see Hollywood while learning about its history and we had the personal, local touch of Brian. 5 stars!

I've been a fan of the FAD web site for years and had promised myself the next time I was in the LA area I would book a trip. My adult son and I attended a tour this past Sunday (07/24/11) Our tour guide was great, knew all the sites, sounds and stories..not just the "official tour route" but took us to see a few other things off the scrip. In a strange / funny / ironic twist while sitting in the van hearing a story of the death of a famous so and so at the luxury hotel location we sat in front of, what happens? Two funeral home attendants wheeling out a body in a body bag. I thought our driver was going to burst open he was laughing so hard. We had a great time. Vans were clean and comfortable, the trip was worth every dollar spent. We will be back to do the Helter Skelter tour next.

The tour begins on Hollywood Blvd and, once loaded into the spacious bus, we were wisked around Hollywood and taken to many famous and infamous locations. From Bugsy Siegel's last home (he got shot there) to the home where the Menendez brothers killed their parents, you see everything and learn amazing details. BUT, take note that NOT all stops are murder or scandal locations. Mae West's home and Valentino's Falcon's Lair are all part of the experience. Our guide was funny and informative and made the whole thing worthwhile. How could you come to Hollywood and NOT take this tour????

Such a fun thing to do on a Saturday afternoon! Scott knew so much about the Manson case and his enthusiasm made the entire trip very enjoyable. Not only informative, this tour is also a great way to see parts of LA that only locals would know. I highly recommend this tour to everyone- from someone who knows a great deal about the case to someone who knows nothing about it. Thanks so much for a great tour!

Our Hollywood Movie tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Brian, the leader and driver, was a delight and we can unreservedly recommend the tour.

I really enjoyed this tour! I went alone because my companion wasn't free midday. I was hesitant about going alone, but decided to go anyway. I'm glad I did. It was fascinating! If you are thinking of going on this tour, do it! You won't be disappointed. I went on three different Hollywood tours while I was there. This one was the best!

Brian, our tour host, was very knowledgeable & good fun. The tour took in all the sights we needed to see.

We had such a great time! Could have stayed on the tour all day - and I bet Brian could have kept giving us interesting new info/facts all day! We had a 9 year old with us who had a fantastic time - the tour is interesting but some subject matter might not be suited for other 9 year olds. Brian did a fantastic job making sure she was okay. I can wait to check out the other tours offered (Helter Skelter and DD2). If you do one tour - this is the one and Brian is your guy!

Every month the girls and I get together and do a GDO (girls day out) no kids, no husbands/boyfriends. We had a good time being tourist in our own backyards. Only one small complaint in the fact that we couldn't see much (I was in the last row middle seat of the van) hard to see thru the roof. Up swing to the sight obstruction was that it was a very warm LA day and it made it a lot more comfortable. So overall it was great and the driver (Steve?) was very knowlegable and entertaining, Thanks for the great day with friends, past and present.
