Dearly Departed Tours

Brian was a terrific tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting with his wit and knowledge of the subject. We would do a tour again on our next trip to LA. This is a tour you don't want to miss.

Driver kept referring to pro-homosexual matters, bad mouthed the Boy Scouts, made other potical comments. Why do liberals always want to to offend? Keep your views to yourself when I am paying for the service.

Got to see some stuff I expected and some surprises as well! Highly recommended!

( i apologize for the horrible grammar) i thoroughly enjoyed the dearly departed tour...i went with my boyfriend for my 26th birthday because it was recommended to me by a few of my co-workers...i was not disappointed! the tour guide was well informed and enthusiastic...i only wish there was more info on the manson murders in the basic tour (i realize there is a separate tour specifically focused on that) other than that it was awesome! thanks for the great brthday!

We had lots of fun on this tour and found out things we would never have known otherwise. Much more interesting than the usual "star's homes" tours. Thanks.

It was a perfect Hollywood tour with a perfect Hollywood host. Brian, you had us with "I was living in an apartment house above Franklin and Ivar." Looking forward to our next ride!

We didn't even visit the cemetery.

This was my first time in Hollywood. I went on several Hollywood Tours, this one was the most FUN and memorable! By the way, the "LA Confidential" road curve . . . pure Genius! Mark

We had sooo much fun on our Dearly Departed Tour!!! We went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and Brian our guide was soo informative and funny!! He knew so much about the history of Hollywood/Los Angeles in general which made the tour that much more interesting!! I loved listening to all the clips and recordings during the tour, it added so much to the atmosphere! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in the dark side of Hollywoods mysterious history! Loved it!

Its good even as a tour of beverley hills and sunset strip, but what makes this is the commentary from Gary, your guide which is very infomed, informative and witty . You dont need an in depth knowledge of old hollywood either as the tour covers up to date stuff as well. The bus is comfortable and NOT an open top whcih is good for LA . And the tour starts in hollywood boulevard which is easy to get to. and it starts and finishes at a great movie books and memorabilia shop. at two and a half hours its the right length , but i could have had more as the time went by quite quickly. I would (and did)choose this over any movie stars homes tour anyday

Tour guide Brian was personable and very knowledgable (and a good driver). The tour covers a perfectly-balanced variety of not just scandal, but fascinating Hollywood history and pop culture as well. Highly Recommened (along with the Helter Skelter tour). Especially great for locals.

Brian the driver has a wealth of knowlegde. The organisers have obviously put significant effort into tailoring the tours to pack as much in as possible. It is a very nice experience to go around the streets to places one would not normally go and see where the movies really happened. Not only that but the facts and quirky trivia that goes with it - stuff you would not imagine! Makes this a thoroughly interesting journey - highly recommended Thanks Brian

we did the tour on 24th July at 1.30pm and we both have to say, we were not disappointed what so ever. It was very informative, deathly delicious and amazing to see in real time places connected to Hollywood's dead famous. This is by far one of if not "The" best tour to go on if you ever get the chance to visit Hollywood. We will certainly be going again, whenever we return to LA and will certainly try and go on all the other tours that Dearly Departed have to offer. You guys rock!!!
