Brian the driver has a wealth of knowlegde. The organisers have obviously put significant effort into tailoring the tours to pack as much in as possible. It is a very nice experience to go around the streets to places one would not normally go and see where the movies really happened. Not only that but the facts and quirky trivia that goes with it - stuff you would not imagine! Makes this a thoroughly interesting journey - highly recommended Thanks Brian

we did the tour on 24th July at 1.30pm and we both have to say, we were not disappointed what so ever. It was very informative, deathly delicious and amazing to see in real time places connected to Hollywood's dead famous. This is by far one of if not "The" best tour to go on if you ever get the chance to visit Hollywood. We will certainly be going again, whenever we return to LA and will certainly try and go on all the other tours that Dearly Departed have to offer. You guys rock!!!

This tour was so cool. If you enjoy the darker sides of the citiies this is the tour for you. The tour guide Brian was amazing! He is the best. If you are in the Los angeles area even for a couple hours, take this tour. You won't regret it!

Our tour guide, Brian, was extremely knowledgeable and informative, and kept us laughing most of the time as well. It was great fun and we're telling all our friends about the tour. Recommended for "creepy" fun!

This tour is amazing. Brian our tour guide is hilarious, and knows so much about the city and the places we visited. This is a perfect tour for anyone who likes movies and likes to see where they were filmed. Highly reccommed. Thank you Brian for the great tour! We still talk about how much fun we had!

This tour uses a smaller vehicle that seats only 12 or so people, which allows for a more personalized tour, with interaction with the tour operator. The tour shows a movie clip on the dvd player in the van, and then shows you the actual place used in the clip. Every location you are shown is documented by the clips, so there is no question that what you are seeing is real. Brian, our tour operator, was a font of Hollywood knowledge, and kept the tour fun, interesting, and informative. He shared personal knowledge and information, in addition to what was memorized patter, and was happy to answer questions and have a conversation. I live in LA and have taken several different tours with out of town guests, and would not only recommend this tour (and the Dearly Departed Tour, run by the same tour company), but this will be the tour I take out of town guests on going forward.

This was my second time taking the tour. It was slightly different, a few more sights, a few less, but still just as fun. The tour guide (not Scott this time) was friendly and funny and gave a great tour around the sleazy and ritzy sites. I plan on going again, and doing the other tours offered. Great time!

Just wanted to say how much I appreciated EVERYTHING that Brian showed us! He was the best tour guide I have ever had...and I have been on so many tours lately! He took the time to explain everything he showed us and was super enthusiastic about it. You know he loved his job and made sure everyone was happy. I would recommend this tour to EVERYONE AND ANYONE! It was seriously amazing, and would do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks soo much to Brian he was the best.

Great idea for a tour and very informative. Guide was fantastic. Unfortunately I didn't know most of the people mentioned as my knowledge of movies and all things Hollywood is not great. Otherwise highly recommended.

Took this tour with my friend and son (age 26) and we all enjoyed it immensely. The tour guide was extremely personable and knowledgeable and his passion for the subject of Hollywood and its history were clearly evident. Although it may sound morbid to see where the Hollywood star met their demise, I found it a fascinating way to see the town and the homes of my favorite stars. The stories were things I had read about and being able to connect the place and the story was great. The tour guide personalized the tour to the group which I also appreciated. I certainly would recommend this to anyone who likes something a little out of the norm (instead of just a plain Hollywood tour).

We had an opportunity to take the Dearly Departed tour recently, and we would heartily recommend it to anyone with an interest in the dark and strange side of Hollywood. We were running late (traffic) and the staff were nice enough to call us back, and even suggest easy parking locations. The tour was wonderful, and the guide (Brian) was both exceedingly knowledgeable, and quite skilled at getting the 12-passenger bus around the challenging streets of town. We found that his enthusiasm for the topic was infectious, no matter your level of knowledge in the celebrity world. In short, we had an excellent time, and I would whole-heartedly recommend it for anyone who has a fondness for the weird, bizarre, and grim.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. He went out of his way to show us extras that weren't on the planned tour!
