Dearly Departed Tours

My wife and I booked this tour after seeing it on a local travel show in Australia and we weren't disappointed! We had a great time, our tour guide was nothing short of brilliant. He was very funny and knowledgeable, we were amazed at the information he provided. You can tell he loves his job, he was so enthusiastic and happy to be with us on the tour. It's really great to be with someone that truly enjoys their job. We were sorry the tour had to end, it was money well spent!

I've taken this tour 3 times now and it was just as fantastic this time as the first 2. After having been escorted around various infamous places by Scott Michaels himself, I was pleasantly surprised that a man named Richard was just as knowledgable and funny as Scott. I knew that Scott wouldn't disappoint in choosing another guide to take through the tragical history of Los Angeles while he embarked on his newly added Helter Skelter tour. Congrats, Scott, on your success!!

This tour was a very intimate look at Hollywood/Beverly Hills and I would highly recommend it. It's not for the "faint of heart" though! Our awesome tour guide, Brian, was absolutely brilliant and so knowledgeable. I liked his honest way of presenting the facts and yet respectful way of sharing some things that I am still having a hard time stomaching! I will never look at this area the same again and if I ever come back to LA (not likely ;)) I will for sure look them up! Thank you!

Great tour with tons of stops and information. Brian was our guide and he is passionate about what he does. Also liked that he mixed in information not related to "dearly departed" such as pointing out stars homes when we went by them. Would have loved to see the OJ condo and house but I suspect it is too far away for this tour. Would recommend this to anyone interested in learning more about Hollywoods seedy underbelly.

Scott and Brian are the best in the business. Very entertaining and informative.

We had a great time, guide was extremely informative. The tour took us to a lot more destinations then I expected. Will go on another tour when back in the LA area!

This tour was everything and more that I expected it to be. Brian, our guide, provided us with so much detail and entertainment. I live locally and had family from out of town visiting. This was a great way to show them the city with lots of the old hollywood history. I will definitely be booking again.

the tour was very informative,the van ride was safe and comfortable.overall its a tour i would take again. i look forward to returning to hollywood soon! i would definetly recomend taking this dearly departed tour for anyone who is even slightly interested.

The tour was great! Brian, our Tour Guide, was knowledgeable and very funny. The 2 hours flew by as we were thoroughly enterained with stories and sightseeing. Don't miss this tour if you are in LA!

Well we took the Dearly Departed tour on Friday the 24th of October and it was everything that we expected it to be! Scott really knows his stuff about all things Hollywood/LA and it was as great as we'd hoped. We are ABSOLUTELY going to go on this tour again, but next time, privately (no matter what the cost) because all of the other people in the group were horribly dumb and I don't think that they knew what tour they were going on (as they were very excited to see stars homes). We weren't there for that though, we took the tour to see the fascinating sights and hear the morbidly interesting stories to go along with them. So, if you are looking for an incredible tour, and (I can't stress this enough) you are a fan of findadeath.com or any of Scott's other information that he offers, then I VERY STRONGLY suggest that you take this tour. Now, if you are looking to go on a tour of LA and want to see stars homes and crap like that, then I do NOT suggest this tour for you at all, maybe some other tour would be better suited for you, but this one is fabulous if you know what you are getting yourself into!

Loved, loved, loved it. Want to go again and do the Helter Skelter tour next.

Amazing tour. As soon as we boarded the van, great old 60's music started playing & continued on & off throughout the tour. We hit all the main crime scenes & points of interest. there were lots of interesting videos on the TV to watch. Scott is very knowledgeable & did great job of explaining where we were & what went on. The 3.5 hrs flew by & I would do it again if ever in the area. Highly recommended
