| The first half of the tour was fun and interesting. The second half dragged a little and seemed more like a tour of Hollywood landmarks. We wished they actually stopped at some of the locations, instead of just driving by at 40 miles an hour. Very hard to get any good pictures. Part of the tour drove us past the hedges of the Hollywood Forever Cemetary, it would have been nice if they drove us through the area or even stopped at a few of the headstones ( my husband and I made our way back afterward and went searching for our own dearly departed). Good company. Would take one of their other tours. |

| Really enjoyed my 3-hr tour. Loved going thru Los Felix and Hancock Park, Holmby Hills. Only disappointment was that we didn't visit the site of Sharon Tate murders - even though the house has been torn down/rebuilt.
The only thing I would recommend is a different kind of vehicle. It's a cute idea, but too cramped inside, so taking photos really difficult. Something with more window area would be great. I didn't even attempt photos because I wasn't next to the window and didn't feel like asking the window seat person to roll down window every time.
I particularly liked the ideas of your specialized tours - just might take that Manson tour next time.
One other thing - I wanted to give driver a tip but it was an awkward scene upon leaving. I wanted to give $5, but only had $10, and was too embarased to hold up line asking for change for a tip. DIdn't really know what to do.
Cheers. |

| Not for those with a conventional sense of humor. If you enjoy things dark, ironic, screwed up, and creepy, this is the tour for you! |

| Richard was a fantastic tour guide. Always easy to understand, and with a wealth of knowledge about the places we visited. I was also impressed with what a safe driver he was. Can't be easy to maneuver a van through those streets, but he was great.
Wouldn't have any reservation about booking one of your tours in the future! |

| We had a very good time. Although I would have liked to have seen more death sites. The Grease High School was interesting and all, but I don't recall anyone dieing there. The tour is called "Dearly Departed" There were so many more death sites that could have been shown without stepping on the toes of the Manson tour, which I understand is a completely seperate tour. The guide was great and very informative and a great host. All in all it was a good tour and we had a good time. |

| We have been on several tours of Los Angeles and this one was the best. It had places of interest for the tragedy aspect of it, and plenty of info on different homes, people and places. I highly recommend this tour. When I get back to LA, I would definately go on another Dearly Departed Tour. |

| We rented out the entire bus for a friend's birthday. It was the best! The 3 hours flew by, we learned a lot of stuff we didn't know (our guide was super knowledgeable) and there was even some sightseeing on the tour that was non-tragedy related. A fun time was had by all! |

Couple on a Date |
| My wife and I flew into LAX last Saturday for our scheduled tour all the way from Wisconsin. We thought we would 'kill a day' in LA before our 7 day Carnival cruise began Sunday.
After running into typical LA traffic, we called the number given 30 minutes prior to the tour start time to let the tour leader know that we were on our way and would probably just make it on time. We only were able to leave a voice mail.
Upon getting closer to the highly congested meeting spot, we called once again 15 minutes later (and 15 minutes prior to the tour start time) and once again were only able to leave a voice mail.
Finally, once we did get to the meeting spot, with 2 minutes to spare (according to the time on my Sprint cell phone) of the tour start time, we found that no one was present and that apparently the tour had "dearly departed" on us. I called the number once more and once again was only able to leave a voice mail.
Suffice it to say, we made other arrangements for the day.
Before I go on, I will admit that we cut it very close - but the fact is is that we were at the meeting spot 2 minutes before the tour was to leave - simple as that - and we also attempted to contact the tour leader several times to inform him or her of where we were at, etc.
No one with the tour company ever called us back to follow-up or apologize for leaving without us before the deadline time. Which leads me to ask - what good is giving a contact number to a customer if the company simply chooses to ignore the customers calls? I will be informing my credit card company that I am in dispute of the charges for this tour. I find it unacceptable, unprofessional, and outright rude that this tour company treated my wife and I in the manner that they did. I will not be recommending this tour company whatsoever to anyone. |

| Scott did a great job taking us on his tour. He took us to so many locations, some of the places I had wanted to see for a long time. The tour was very interesting and Scott had a lot of information on every location and what happened there. It was great. I am looking forward to returning next year and taking the other tour. I wanted to take the Helter Skelter Tour this time, but I had to leave before it took place, but the Tragical Tour exceeded my expectations and I had fun. I really recommend any tour that Scott does. |

| Our group has been on a couple tours and we have decided this was one of the most enjoyable, informative tours we have been on and it's all because of Scott. Our tour guide made our day. He made each stop interesting and made it so we couldn't wait until the next stop to see what he had in store for us. We would go on any tour Scott would be giving, because we feel he would make it interesting and very informative. He is very professional, polite and you can see he read up on these different sights and keeps up on them so not only do you get the past, that some of us older people are interested in but also the current events that the younger people are interested in, so he definately held our interest through out the tour. Like we said he is truly one of the best tour guides we have had. Beverly, Riverside, Ca. |
