| Hollywood's Tragical History tour was both informative and entertaining. The intimate 13 person van was ideal for discussion and interacting with your fellow tourist. Being 55 years old I especially enjoyed the old Hollywood stories and sights. For me it was exciting to see one of the locations from Sunset Boulevard and then to watch the movie on TCM the very next night. The three hours make the tour even better because you are able to see much more during that time then a simple one hour tour. Scotts' knowledge and research into the various sights on the tour was amazing and you trusted that the information he was relaying was legitimate especially since you have a notebook of additional pictures to refer to that show the sights in news papers or actual filmed interviews. I have already convinced my friends and coworkers that we should book a tour as a group. Definitely a must see for anyone going to Hollywood for a vacation. |

| the tour was really really special and my boyfriend and i had a really good time. there is so much history to this city that i didn't know about before! however, although the van was really comfortable and well air-conditioned, it was really hard to see some of the sites because the windows were too small and not really well positioned! it would make the ride much more pleasant if one didn't have to lean constantly lean and jump from side to side... |

| What a wonderful tour, my guest and I wanted even more. Richard is an extremely knowledgeable tour guide and a nice person to spend an afternoon in a van with.
Very comfortable ride, great air conditioning, and the van is quite clean.
A person hardly notices the LA traffic and crazy drivers!
A lovely showcase of REAL Hollywood history. I wouldn't hesitate to go again.
Can't wait to take the Manson and the Movie tours. |

Good, but view more limited in the back of the van

| The tour was good and informative. Our view from the back of the van was not as good as those sitting in front. |

| I'm a single father with a son and daughter. My son recently turned 22. For his birthday, I took him and his girl to a concert in L.A. I decided to also take them on the Dearly departed tour to fill in the time preceeding the concert. We had a great time on this tour. Our tour guide was, Richard... Friendly and informative... The van was comfortable... and the 3 hours did indeed fly by... I would recommend this tour highly

Also... To: Scott.
My name is, Marty Beaver.
I recently found your, find a death site. I have an auto repair shop in, Banning,
(Mayberry) Haha... Times/business being slow, I've enjoyed reading on your site very much. You write very good too. I plan on taking my daughter and her boyfriend on one of your tours soon... (probably the nasty nellie tour) I enquired to, Richard about the following, and he said to ask you when I received this poll/e-mail... Can you tell me where the, yellow McCartney (George Harrison) house is, and where the house is that The Beatles met Elvis?
In fact, Any Beatle related addresses would be very interesting to me. (The Blue Jay Way house, or the Peter Fonda/Beatle house)... Etc... It'd be verrrry cooool to check them out when I take my daughter out there...
Lastly, I must add... You're very lucky to be doing what you really enjoy as a living...
I envy you... Please do, keep adding to the, Find a death site... I've almost read them all.... Hat's off and best reguards.

| Tour was ok. Got to go to some places that I hadn't been, such as where the Manson murders took place. However, the van is a little hard to see out of, especially if what is being shown is on the side you're not sitting. Also, was disappointed the tour doesn't go by where the OJ murders took place, considering this is probably the most famous murders ever let alone in CA. Would recommend, but probably not for $40. |

| I took the Dearly Departed Tour with Scott Michaels on a Saturday afternoon, and it was wonderful. Professional, appropriate stops, illustrated booklets for everyone on board to reinforce the tour, and almost an extra hour in time. The detail was excellent, the van comfortable, and Scott was extremely personable and thoughtful. He engaged all of us and was very knowledgeable about not only the gruesome sights but LA and Hollywood history in general. I liked it so much I booked a private tour to Hollywood Forever Cemetery, which was the highlight of my trip.
Absolutely wonderful. |
