| enjoyed seeing the history and locations of hollywoods rich and famous. I would like the tour to concentrate on what it wants to be- is it a tour of famous hollywood locales? Is it a tour of famous crime scenes? combination? Even though I enjoyed the historical aspects, I was expecting a recap, ala the first visit (rebecca schaeffer), throughout, yet got a mismash of info, (the set of dw griffith,e.g.) not really complaining, but left me a little wanting. A lttle tweaking will make it a classic! |

| Just went on the tour last week...it was raining, which made it even better! The tour was great, I thought I knew most of the scandalous LA history, but I learned a lot that I wasn't aware of. Plus Scott throws in extra non crime celeb info, for instance I found out that the school a block behind my apartment building was where they shot parts of Grease!! Scott is very knowledgeable, a lot of fun, and definitely loves what he does. Forget the rest, take the Dearly Departed tour when in LA!! |

| sis and i are from norcal and decided to do the tour in LA while we were passing through. the tour was good... interesting...however we didn't appreicate rushing to get there on time, only to have to wait for 3 people who showed up 20 min late. also, the tour needs at least one more break from riding in the van... for a snack, water and toilet stop. it's hard to sit in the van that long... the last 45 min seemed extremely long... i was thinking... i need to pee, i need to stretch my legs, i need some fresh air...
on the positive side, the guide was excellent... very friendly and entertaining...we enjoyed the info, songs, recordings and picture books. keep up the great work! add another rest stop and the tour would be nearly perfect. |

| The tour is full of information of so many areas, even areas you may have driven past many times but had no idea certain people had lived/died there. Audio information that was played during the ride complements the places seen, and so does the pictures that are provided so a person can compare what is seen today with what it was like years or decades ago. |

| My family and I really enjoyed the Dearly Departed Tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The vehicle was comfortable and there was adequate time spent at each location. I would highly recommend to others. Thanks for a great time!
Recommendations: The view straight out of the windows was good but the upward view was limited. Possibly a open top or clear roof would be great. |

| This tour was a gift to me for my 30th birthday, and I could not be more pleased!! Scott, our tour guide, was so incredible! There was not a dull moment on this tour, and seriously, it felt like an old friend was showing us around town, making sure to not miss a thing!
I've been on quite a few tours around the world and have always had problems either, hearing or understanding the guide. That is not the case this time around. The speakers were very clear, and scott was very articulate and hilarious with his dearly departed humor!
Surprisingly, I was not afraid for my life being driven around Los Angeles by someone else! That was an added bonus for sure! Feeling safe on LA roads is a task in itself!!
I could go on and on about what a treat this tour was, but really... to truly know what i'm saying.. one HAS to take the tour themselves.. |

| I really enjoyed the tour!
My boyfriend, who before the tour admitted he wasn't interested in the least, walked away excited and entertained, saying that he had no idea that his home town held so many interesting things. (to which I politely replied, "Duh!")
I was sad Scott couldn't be there in person but there is always next time!
The one thing I would do differently would be to get there a little earlier so I could get a better seat. I sat next to the ''wall'' of the car and had to lean forward or backward to see out a window. I also think my seatbelt was wonky; it kept cinching up on its own and was very tight and uncomfortable. But these are mere inconveniences. We really had a lot of fun. I can't wait to go on another tour with Dearly Departed! (and maybe take this same tour again!!)
Thanks so so much!

| tour was great way to see a different side of Hollywood, small group makes it nicer and easier to interact... lots of history and human interest stories are shared .. |
