| The Dearly Departed tour was fun, informative, and entertaining. Our guide was knowledgeable and very accommodating and kept us entertained and had myriad stories to tell. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
I think the only thing I didn't like was that it was sometimes difficult to see things on the opposite side of the van from where I was sitting. Larger wrap around windows would have been nice, or even an open-air vehicle. |

| We had a fantastic time! The three hours flew by. We could of stayed on the van much longer. Our tour guide was entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. We found the audio narration, and recordings of people and events, and the photo book added an extra dimension.
We would definitely go on this tour again and are telling all our friends about it.
Well worth the money. |

| Richard was a great host and his knowledge of Hollywood is encyclopedic. He has a great sense of humor which is very necessary in his business. The tour was fantastic.
The only negative comments I have are these:
1. The seats are too small/narrow. Even little ladies were complaining about the seats.
2. The van restricted the view. You need a vehicle that allows your customer to view sights that are on all sides of the vehicle, even "up". More windows, plexiglass, etc. would be a great help.
My wife and I would definitely take the tour again, it was well worth the money and a lot of fun!! |

| Our group had a great time on the tour. Our tour guide, Richard, made the event fun and interesting. The bus was comfortable and clean. Richard said at the beginning of the tour that it would be the fastest 3+ hours we ever spent, and it was! We are all talking about taking another tour with DDTours!! |

| I loved this tour. the best tour ever, we got to see all the big murder houses, and where they filmed amazing movies like HALLOWEEN. Up to this date me and my cousin and husband are still talking about the tour. will recommend to anyone. |

| I especially liked the "before" and "after" photo books that were provided so we could see the various locations as they were then, and compare them to present day -- many had changed very little. Our guide provided a wealth of information and fascinating history -- it was also a great way to view some beautiful Hollywood estates and wonderful older neighborhoods in the LA area. |

| This was my second time on the tour, I took my nephew a few years ago and I thought it was a good bet to take a guest from out of town. And it was! I think there was more detail in the first tour. It seemed there was more places being pointed out, Like: the story of Bela Lugosi's funeral where it's said the driver lost control and regained it only after it passed the cigar shop where he bought stogies on Hollywood Blvd. And the site of the Ambassador Hotel. The infamous clubs in that area as well. And a little about Thelma Todd, the Derby, Fatty Arbuckle, The Marx Brothers. But it's still a very cool ride! And even though the passenger sitting behind was rude, it didn't ruin the tour for me or my guest. Maybe the tour guide should ask for folks to chill out and relax more. Like don't sing to the music broadcast in the bus cabin! It's also embarrassing to watch mid-west tourists attempt to out-trivia the tour guide. In any event, I'll be taking someone else on it again in the near future! It appeals to the morbid curiosity in us all not unlike the Hollywood Babylon books. |

| I am from LA and took a couple friends from Rhode Island on this tour. I figured it would be easier than me trying to do a flimsy tour myself. I dont know if I learned more or they did! Places I have passed for 20 years and had NO idea.
Scotts knowledge and love for Hollywood was enormously enjoyable, and I have already recommended this tour to locals AND visiting relatives alike.
Thanks for all your good work!

PS: bad points:
*Airconditioning /airflow was very bad. It was an exceptionally hot day and was a bit uncomfortable.
*tour was a tad too long.
*end of tour there was quite a lull. No music no info. just driving and quiet. Need to fill that gap |
