| I am from LA and took a couple friends from Rhode Island on this tour. I figured it would be easier than me trying to do a flimsy tour myself. I dont know if I learned more or they did! Places I have passed for 20 years and had NO idea.
Scotts knowledge and love for Hollywood was enormously enjoyable, and I have already recommended this tour to locals AND visiting relatives alike.

PS: bad points:
*Airconditioning /airflow was very bad. It was an exceptionally hot day and was a bit uncomfortable.
*tour was a tad too long.
*end of tour there was quite a lull. No music no info. just driving and quiet. Need to fill that gap |

| My family and I came out from the Inland Empire...I must say a trip well spent!! I cannot believe places that I have driven by or been too in the past in Hollywood there is soooo much history behind and around it!! Our Driver Richard was very nice and friendly..he was willing to give us additional info. The handouts and audio gave the Tour a more "Real" vibe. I will definitely do this Tour again....!! Thanks again!! |

| Really like the format. Sound clips and photo's were a real plus. Would have been even cooler if there were a few video clips.

| This tour is just the greatest. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to go off the beaten path of normal "Hollywood" tours. Scott has so much knowledge about the who, where and what. He makes the tour so interesting. |

| i thought it was very entertaining and very interesting.the only negative was some of the sites were difficult to see from the van.however,i would still recommend this tour. |

| Scott Michaels is the best tour guide ever! If you have even a slight interest in Hollywood or Helter Skelter, these tours will blow you away! We highly recommend the Dearly Departed tours---Helter Skelter and Tragic Hollywood History! |

| First off, I have to admit I was a bit concerned as Scott Michaels was not the one giving the tour as the website promoted, however, the gentleman who did give us the tour was funny, comfortable, knowledgeable and a hoot and a half. I can't remember his name now, sorry.
My Husband and I were greatly looking forward to this tour for a week and it was every bit as fun as we hoped it'd be. Considering it was over 3 hours, the time just flew right by.
If only the tour was offered as a flashlight tour...
I will definitely be telling all of my friends and family about it.
