Interesting way to kill a few hours

Overall, my wife and I had a good time. I was surprised by how much of the tour was NOT something morbid or tragic ("Here is Sean Hayes' house!"), but we still got our fair share of the darkside of Hollywood. I was also pleased with how relatively current some of the sights were, such as the house where Michael Jackson died.

A nice mix of creepy and fun. Loved visiting Marilyn Munroe House and Florist. Our hotel was on the tour (Magic Castle). Hotel never told us about the Ghost. They should! as its a good selling point. Very friendly guide, very informative. Had a brilliant tour. A real highlight of our trip. Will take the Nasty Nellie Tour next time. Helter Skelter may be a bit full on for us. If you ever decide on an old time Movie Tour I'm there. Loved all the stuff re Judy, Marilyn, May etc. We will be back. Thankyou.

I enjoyed the tour but I wish that the bathroom break at the Will Rogers Park was not so soon. Could have toured about another half hour before the park. Thanks.

Whatever you do if you go to Los Angeles, TAKE THIS TOUR. This was the 2nd time I took it and it is WONDERFUL! It is so fun, informative, macabre, everything and then some. You see all the places where the famous lives ended and and other famous places. It is so neat to see it in person and you go to so many places its hard to remember them all. You would be hard pressed to go to all the places they take you on the tour by yourself. The tour guide is wonderful, funny and knows EVERYTHING about hollywood. Dont walk, RUN!

I've known about Dearly Departed Tours for a long time.....read about it on findadeath.com. My (31 yr old) daughter and I have often talked about going on one of the tours. I finally bought the tickets for her birthday and we were both glad I did! Richard, our guide, was terrific. Chock full of information, funny, and very personable. He's also an incredible driver...navigating some of those streets is an art. Loved seeing & learning about many events and places I've always wondered about....and so much more! Highlights would be seeing the Rebecca Shaefer, Menendez, & La Bianca houses. Mixed in are also a variety of other celeb homes which was fun. So much history in Hollywood and Richard did a great job of sharing it. Lowlights would be........gee, can't think of a single one. It was a great day and let me say a great value. $40 for 3 1/2 hrs. of personalized, fun & interesting entertainment. I'm planning on doing the Manson tour in the near future. Two thumbs up!

I've always been fascinated by the history of Los Angeles and HOllywood and have researched many stories to play tour guide myself when friends come to visit. This tour was incredible because of how many places and stories it delivers across the city...Beverly Hills, Sunset Strip, Hollywood, Los Feliz...you get to see and hear so much and it's nice when you can sit back and let someone else handle the driving. I will definintely take one of the different tours in the future. Thanks, Stephen Saylor

As a true crime buff, loved to see the sites of such famous tragedies, but I was also pleasantly surprised by the tours of neighboorhoods, celebrity homes, and other ephemera. Our guide Richard was very knowledgeable, personable and kept the information flowing, no small feat on a 3 hour plus tour. Bravo!
