| My family and I really enjoyed the Dearly Departed Tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The vehicle was comfortable and there was adequate time spent at each location. I would highly recommend to others. Thanks for a great time!
Recommendations: The view straight out of the windows was good but the upward view was limited. Possibly a open top or clear roof would be great. |

| This tour was a gift to me for my 30th birthday, and I could not be more pleased!! Scott, our tour guide, was so incredible! There was not a dull moment on this tour, and seriously, it felt like an old friend was showing us around town, making sure to not miss a thing!
I've been on quite a few tours around the world and have always had problems either, hearing or understanding the guide. That is not the case this time around. The speakers were very clear, and scott was very articulate and hilarious with his dearly departed humor!
Surprisingly, I was not afraid for my life being driven around Los Angeles by someone else! That was an added bonus for sure! Feeling safe on LA roads is a task in itself!!
I could go on and on about what a treat this tour was, but really... to truly know what i'm saying.. one HAS to take the tour themselves.. |

| I really enjoyed the tour!
My boyfriend, who before the tour admitted he wasn't interested in the least, walked away excited and entertained, saying that he had no idea that his home town held so many interesting things. (to which I politely replied, "Duh!")
I was sad Scott couldn't be there in person but there is always next time!
The one thing I would do differently would be to get there a little earlier so I could get a better seat. I sat next to the ''wall'' of the car and had to lean forward or backward to see out a window. I also think my seatbelt was wonky; it kept cinching up on its own and was very tight and uncomfortable. But these are mere inconveniences. We really had a lot of fun. I can't wait to go on another tour with Dearly Departed! (and maybe take this same tour again!!)
Thanks so so much!

| The tour covered a lot of ground with some familiar paths (Sunset and Hollywood Blvds), but mostly off the beaten path sites. A good mix of famous, infamous, old and new sites. The Dee Dee Ramone apartment and Hollywood Towers hotel were hits for me. Stop number one really hit me hard - real sites, real people and real tragedies. |

| Angela, a LA visitor from Barcelona (Spain). Travel agent.
I got to know about DDT through a local newspaper in Barcelona as one of their journalists took the tour and wrote about it in one of his articles.
My expectations were high as I knew in advance what the tour involved however I was really impressed on the quality of Scott's (our guide) job. Behind his explanations/stories/facts there are (for sure) many hours of preparation and the extra information he offers with music/recordings/photos is really interesting.
More than three hours of a great tour that finishes very quickly and then you just want to go back and try another of Scott's tours.
For non-English speakers -> even if your English is fluent be aware that all the tour is done in English and you have to give full attention to get all details. It is of a great help if you check some of the stories before, specially if you don't know about them (like the Menendez murders) to be able to follow.
Thanks so much Scott !! |

| The tour guide made this trip well worth the time. He was very friendly and gave a lot of information about each site or event. He mentioned a new tour he is starting (movies sites) I think the new tour will be just as good. |

| I took my friend on the Departed Tour as a birthday present, and it was entertaining and fun. I've taken other tours in the past, and this one had new things to offer. We did see a lot of great famous death sites. I liked that there is music and recordings to accompany some of the stories and places we went to, Our guide was great and the picture book is a nice touch. The only disappointment I had was there were a few places I thought we would go by that we didn't (last residence of M. Monroe, OJ murders, Phil Hartman, Wonderland Avenue, and the location of the Tate/Manson murders). Overall it was a fun experience made even better by going around halloween. |
