| Scott Michaels is clearly very knowledgable about Hollywood. The information he gave us was all very interesting. However, the tour was advertised as the Dearly Departed. I thought it would be only about the dead and how they died in Hollywood and the creepy stories, with creepy music playing in the background and creepy videos. We spent a lot of time hearing about which celebrity lived here or there. All interesting, but not what I expected. I suspect Scott's interest really lies in the movie location sites and the history behind that. We learned a lot about the movie Sunset Blvd., but again, not what I expected. Also, there was a lot of time between narration, too much "dead" air.
I thought for sure we'd go by Nicole Brown Simpson's house, and the site of Marilyn Monroe's death, Superman's death, Wonderland Murders, etc, but we didn't. I felt that a lot of the major, well-know crime scenes were overlooked.
I would suggest that the tour be shorter and limited only to the dead and creepy things about Hollywood. If there aren't that many creepy things about Hollywood, then maybe the tour should be scrapped or renamed, "Historical Mishmash Hollywood Tour."
I'm going on the Helter Skelter Tour and I am looking forward to that one. I'll probably go on the location tour, too. However, this one needs reworking. |

| I took my wife and father on this tour. My dad hasn't been to Hollywood ever and I thought he would get into this. He's big into learning new things and I'm sure he will take this home with him.
I liked Scott's personality...very knowledgable about what he's talking about. Liked that it wasn't all doom and gloom (though I wish we could have driven past the Cielo Drive, Sharon tate site...I guess that would be covered in the Manson tour).
Anyway, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming through town and would probably go on this tour again if given the chance.
Nice job Scott! |

| We really enjoyed the tour which took us to places we wanted to see but were not aware where they were. It included places and events from the present as well as those from the golden age of movies. The tour touched on some off color topics (as advertised) but our guide Scott was aware that our teenage son was with us and his sensitivity was appreciated. It was great fun. We would most enthusiastically reccomend this tour. |

| Scott's tour was awesome. You can tell he's really fascinated by Hollywood and it's history, which really elevated the tour. Definitely recommended. |

| Most tours of the L.A. area take you to see the "stars" homes. You end up seeing gates, doors and hedges the "stars" use to keep away prying eyes. This tour takes you through the history that made the area. Most interesting history has to do with scandal and crime, this is the tour that walks you through it. It is very tastefully done, no blood and gore, just facts and locations. Highly recommended for anyone interested in walking through history and seeing what made L.A. great. |

| This activity (tour) was poorly represented. The expectation of visiting places where well known people met their demise was not met. This was just another Hollywood tour of celebrity homes & places of note.....The guide was not amusing or engaging. I was very disappointed. |

| We had such a great time. I've lived in SoCal for 25 years and never experienced anything like this. It will now definitely be included on the "must see" list of things for friends and family that come visit. Thank you for your enthusiasm! |

| I enjoyed the Dearly Departed tour immensely. Its a fantastic way to see the underbelly of LA. I loved the multimedia angle as well, with Scott having photos and playing 911 calls relevant to the sites we were visiting. Scott is a magnificent guide, seeming to have boundless amounts of information, definately the kind of person you'd love to have a few beers with! My only disappointment is that i can't go on Scott's other tours any time soon! Dearly Departed was actually the main reason i was in LA, and i wasn't disappointed! |
