| I was pleasantly surprised at how much we covered in 3 hours - we saw a great deal of interesting places of all sorts. Our guide was great as well, very knowledgeable, friendly and funny - and i liked that it was a smaller busload of folks. I would definitely recommend it to others, and already have in fact - and i plan on taking some of your other tours as well especially next time i have family or friends in town.
One idea may be to have a handout for people, even if it's at the end of the tour, with some visual reference and info that lists all the places we saw so that when going through your pics you can be sure to remember what each was, and maybe a couple of bullet points of interest about each place. I started taking notes since i have somewhat of a bad memory, which helped when going through an labeling my pics later on so i could show people what it was that i saw. Just a suggestion, i wouldn't say it would make or break the experience, but may be a help to some people so they can take it all in without trying to remember so much and write things down for later. :)
Thanks for a fun time! |

| Our tour guide Scott was jam packed with Hollywood info and knowledge it was mind blowing. We can't wait to take this tour again and take the other tours he offers. He has a true love for Hollywood and movies and it shows. Highly recommended. |

| Great tour. Lots of interesting stories and stops. Good balance of the humorous and the macabre. |

| I had the best time on this tour, plan to go on the Helter Skelter tour next. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend the Tragical History Tour to out-of-towners and locals as well. |

| I had a family member in town visiting and went on the tour based on the recommendation of a friend. I have been on other Hollywood tours with out of town guest- and none compared to the Dearly Departed Tour. The three hours flew- it felt more like 30 minutes. I plan to take the Helter Skelter tour and the new Movie Site tour as well. Also plan to send all of my house guests for the Dearly Departed experience. |

| This was a morbidly fascinating tour. The tour director was great, very fun to be with--the small group of 13 in the van was great. Recommend for adults only, older adults would be most likely to be interested probably. Have already recommended to some friends at work. |

| I enjoyed the tour itself but our tour guide at the end of the tour expected more of a tip then I offered him. He refused my money and told me and another lady that had a few dollars tip for him that he hoped we did not tip our waiters and waitresses like that there, and, that it was very rude to try and give someone a dollar or 2 for a tip. This was my first tour and I did not even know we could tip the guy in the first place. I had no other change then $ 100's and told him that and that it was my first tour and I didn't know. He was not understandable at all or kind. He said, "you do not EVER do that here", that it was so rude. I felt like telling him if someone gives you something they did not even have to give after already having payed for the tour and out of kindness you should at least be respectful about it. When we left there I heard the other lady saying how rude he was too. Out of all the tours we went on this was the only one that even had a gradtuity sign up in the van. It should have said " pay me $ 10.00 or up and I will be happy... Ruined my vacation day... |

| Richard was our tour guide and provided an interesting tour...very knowledgable. The only negative about the tour was the van air conditioner doesn't work very well and made the tour somewhat uncomfortable. Enjoyed going by the house where Michael Jackson died. Wished we would have gone by the house where the Tate murders happened and the house where Marilyn Monroe died. |

| Great overview of LA covering a lot of places; very informative and fun. Nice small van made it accessible to many areas and only a dozen people at a time on the tour seemed to make it easier. Meeting at the Farmers Market area was convenient. The tour seemed very well planned to maximize use of your time; always something interesting to see/hear about along the way. The tour was neither too long nor too short. And the information provided helped over my next few days in LA, as I noticed things I had seen on the tour, which helped me get my bearings. This is a great tour if you are a first time visitor and/or don't have a lot of time but want to see a lot and get a sense of the city. It is not as grim or morbid as some might think, but still shows some of the darker history of the city. On the tour I took, they had just added Michael Jackson's last residence. |

| My teen daughter and I took this tour as part of our LA getaway. We both thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Richard, was extremely knowledgeable about Hollywood.
Richard played music, 911 tapes, and spoke throughout the tour keeping our interest for the entire 3 1/2 hours! There was some humor, some horror, and some macabre. There was also time for photos. I highly recommend this tour and look forward to returning to California to do another tour with Dearly Departed. An awesome experience and well worth the time. |
