Just came back from the Dearly Departed Tour hosted by Brian and it was the best time imaginable! The tour itself was fun, quirky, morbid and highly entertaining and it was made all the more wonderful by our guide Brian. He is knowledgeable, friendly, engaing and full of energy. He is a walking trivia guide! The tour bus was totally comfortable and we visited great sites! I can't wait to take this tour again and hope they create a DD2 tour! I recommend this tour to anyone who wants something just a bit out of the ordinary! Thanks Brian for making our day (and my birthday) so special!....Love from Pumpkin II

Brian was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable about Hollywood past and present. I'd recommend this tour to people that live in LA as well as tourists.

This was either my fifth or sixth time on the Dearly Departed tour; whenever I have friends from out of town visit, I find that this is one of the most interesting and informative ways to show them around Los Angeles and Hollywood. The tour has just the right mixture of humor and the macabre and is downright fascinating; I never tire of it. For locals and tourists both, I recommend this tour most highly.

My friend found this tour through a travel book and we read a few online reviews and decided to take the plunge. It was our one super touristy thing to do. We were not disappointed, it was worth every penny. Brian is such a wonderful guide, he is very funny and is full of so much information it's crazy. He is very personable and if you have something that you really want to learn more about he will make sure that you do. Of course it's a morbid subject but it is so interesting. Our tour was very thorough and full of facts, it was great! If you are looking for something unique this is totally worth the time and money!

Brian is the best tour guide I've had in LA

I've been on tours before, but none had tour guides that were as humorous, well-informed, and nice as Brian. Not only that, but he was having fun with it, instead of spouting off the same facts day in and day out in a drone. I think, because he had fun with it, I retained so much more information than I would have otherwise. I would recommend this to anybody (well, maybe not kids, but thankfully I'm not friends with any!). Sure, parts of it are a bit.. well, odd.. but look at what the tour is called for pete's sake! I hope there's a pt. 2 version that happens soon, I would love to learn more!

Anyone who is looking for something a little different than your typical Hollywood tour is in luck. The tour was fun and informative- Brian kept us laughing the whole time. Great sites. You see so much more than typical Los Angeles. I'll definitely be returning to take the Helter Skelter tour.

We took the dearly departed tour on a beautiful California day. Our guide, Richard, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the area, pointing out all kinds of interesting facts along the way. He was very funny and patient as we asked a hundred questions!! We didn't want to take a tradiional stars homes tour, and thought this would a more fun way to see the city. We were correct, I would recommend this tour to anyone I knew who was visiting the area!!
