This is a must for anyone with friends visiting Los Angeles. You can show them all the fun sites without having to drive them around yourself. Scott is awesome as a tour guide. He really knows his stuff. The three hours will just FLY BY! Loved it!

The tour leader was fantastic. He not only was a huge font of info about death but also maintained a fun rapport with all the tourists. We covered a lot of ground which was terrific because I had never been to LA before and the information was clever and spicy. The next day I took a stars' homes tour from Starline and it was soooo boring compared to the Dearly Departed tour. Arrive a half hour early to check out the cool relics in the gallery (e.g. the actual outside address and apartment number signs from Divine's former home and Jayne Mansfield's suitcase that was in the wreck).

The tour was the best !! Been wanting to go on it for 3 yrs. and it was very interesting , fun , a lot of good info and guide was great and funny. Like the smaller 13 passenger tour , met the other customers and we all had a good time. Will be going on all the tours offered before long, they all sound very good to me.

This had been recommended to me by a friend, and it was completely worth it. Having a great and knowledgeable - and fun tour guide makes the tour so much better. Its a lot more fun than...."and on your right is somebody's home - and on the other side is someone else's house. This guy has great stories to tell.

I recently took the Tragical Mystery Tour with friends that were visiting from Nebraska. We all enjoyed it very much and Brian was an excellent tour guide. I had taken the Dearly Departed tour about 8 years ago when it was just Scott. It's clear why Dearly Departed has become so successful. The tours themselves, a great staff, the memoribilia to look at and much more. I will definately recommend the tours to others and will likely take others, even if it's on my own.

I've wanted to to take this tour for years, and am glad I was able to finally do it. Brian was a great tour host and driver and kept us all entertained with his stories and details about the somewhat seamier side of Hollywood. I know the time is limited, but I would have liked to been able to stop and get out to be able to take pictures ofthe homes and sites. Other than than, it was a great experience!

fascinating trip with current & vintage trivia

We took the tour and I recommend it. Many stars don't live in the area anymore but the come through for shopping and parties. Hearing about the stars and what they did and seeing what they did it was far more interesting than a bunch of mansion drive bys. Some of the stories make you sad because some stars meet their end through bad luck or something no fault of their own. And be sure to look through the exhibits items from the starts homes that were torn down.
