Dearly Departed Tours

I live in LA and I still learned tons about my neighborhood! Brian was very knowledgeable of Hollywood and Los Angeles. He was friendly and very approachable. I'm excited to the take the Death and Horror tour!

Visit some of the coolest places where famous people met there untimely demise, and just some cool spots where celebs lived and died. It is like a Major Headlines come back to life tour of LA.

We have been coming to LA for over 25 years. Finally got around to doing the tour. Brian our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very very funny. We had a fabulous time. He managed to fit so much into the almost 3 hour tour and managed to drive safely around the heavy Halloween traffic. We told all our LA friends about the tour because they all need to do it, not just us tourists. I'd like to do it again!

Highly recommend this tour for both out of towners and locals (like me!). Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and hilarious. I learned so much from him and enjoyed his attempt at a Southern accent.

Really enjoyed our tour with Brian Donnelly. He is so knowledgeable about the area. His head is filled with an endless amount of facts and trivia-which I love. Also love his sense of humor. Never a boring moment. The only problem is I wish it was longer!! I could have driven around all day with Brian telling interesting stories and facts about L. A. and its tragic history. Additionally Dearly Departed Tour's office contains some great memorabilia that must be checked out. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely doing another Dearly Departed Tour when I visit my friends in L.A. again.

The tour was really informative and fun. I took my family to the Dearly Departed's Hollywood Tragical History Tour and everyone left satisfied. It's a great tour for locals as well, I lived in the LA area for 12 years and did not know the history or important landmarks in Hollywood.

totally awesome fun if you're into macabre details of famous incidents and celebrity demises...loved it, and the tour guides and staff are really friendly and funny

i love the website findadeath.com so when we booked a holiday to LA, i made sure this tour was on my list of must do's we got to meet Scott, the creater of the tour and website who was as lovely as he came across online and was happy to answer my questions. Brian did the tour, i was up front with him as i get car sick, he was so enthusiatic and seemed like he loved his job, he showed us not just scenes of famous murders and deaths but also the homes of the stars. there was a folder provided with more detail including gruesome pictures and audio info too. the van was air conditioned and comftable and i could have been driven around listening to Brians knowledge all day, he knows his stuff it was a brillant end to a fantastic holiday and if i ever go back to LA, i will book another tour

I could tell the staff really loved their jobs, which had definitely shown through on the tour. Our tour began in a very comfortable, air-conditioned van with big windows. Our tour guide was Brian, and he was not only a wiz at Hollywood trivia, but extremely funny and friendly, with lots of good tips and suggestions for more sight-seeing and fun. It's not a walking tour, you only get to stop once to use the restrooms and stretch your legs. The tour lasts about 2.5 hours, and is fully narrated while driving by, and occassionally stopping for photo ops. If you love Hollywood and all it's history, you'll really enjoy this tour. The time goes by so fast! I would highly recommend this tour and I am looking forward to taking more insightful trips with this company. Enjoy!!!

My spouse and I had a great time on the tour, but our teen and young adult children didn't know many of the people who the tour guides were talking about. It would have been more enjoyable for them to learn more about contemporary pop culture figures and the places of their scandals in addition to the other locales and people.

me and my husband had a great time on the tour, we learn so much hollywood history. my husband is all into old hollywood and he enjoyed it. I will so recommended to people i know and put it on facebook. we will be doing this again.

Of all of the activities my 21 year old daughter and did in Hollywood this was our favourite - it was AWESOME!! Brian our tour guide was so knowledgable and animated - we could have listened to him for hours! I would highly reccomend this tour - 5 STAR easily.
