Dearly Departed Tours

This tour was excellent, and well recommended for anyone that wants an interesting tour of Hollywood/Beverly Hills. The Driver was very knowledgable and very enthusiastic about the tour. He was a very nice person and able to accommodate any request we had. Well worth the cost!

Brian Donnelly was our Tour Guide and my sisters and I thouroughly enjoyed ourselves the entire time! Brian was very knowledgable, and fun. We loved the extra time and tidbits he added to the tour. I have been a fan of Scott Michaels and FindADeath.com, and the Dearly Departed Tour lived up to the high standards Scott has set over the years. I personally had been looking forward to one of the tours for years, and this turned out to be everything I had expected and more! This is a great tour for someone just interested in a regular Hollywood tour, but also for a person with knowledge about the architecture and history of Hollywood. And this "Death Hag" and amatuer historian loved and totally recommends the tour!

I would like to thank Scott for having the insight to make a tour for those of us fascinated with this particular case. I found this tour to be very informative and captivating. The tour really helps you re trace the events that happened on that fateful night while providing you with the actual locations and video footage of the events. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in Manson and a a look back at unique historical events. Scott was on time and prompt with our pick up and really immersed the group into the tour. I met some nice people on the tour and got to share a unique experience with them. In closing I would definitely take the time to check out this tour and enjoy yourself on a look back at the Manson Family and Old Hollywood

The tour was both interesting and fun. Our guide Brian was quite knowledgable about the tour subject matter as well as LA and Hollywood. He put a fun spin on the tour.

Was really impressed with this tour. We arrived early and were registered then went and had lunch. We came back and left on time. Was impressed with the knowledge of the driver and how much the company had found out about the history and the facts. While some facts were gruesome it is some things that you will not hear on the news and would have to hunt on the internet to find the details. The books with pictures were also interesting and helped you with knowing a little more about the subject matter and learn more about the people. We travelled a good bit through Hollywood and I was not dissappointed. My husband and I were going to book with another company for a similar tour but found this one on the net. Great price and very informative, I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know more about the darker side of LA.

We all thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was differnet than any other we have been on. the bus was nice and the tour guide very accomodating. We arrived right on time but he told us not to rush and feel free to go around to the coffee shop to get a drink and just relax, no rush. the tour included so many new facts and the book with the pictures just added to the tour

We traveled from Illinois for our first trip to L.A. I booked this trip in January and I was so happy I did. My husband and 16 year old daughter loved it too. I wouldn't take a younger child then that as it is very graphic in some parts. It wasn't only about the dead and I love how the music and the original 911 calls were worked into the tour. Our guide Brian Donnelly was GREAT and made the trip so fun with all his facts. I took a lot of pictures but now I can't remember what some of them go to what story so if you take them have a really good memory. There is A LOT of history you will see. We would do this tour again in a minute. FUN, FUN,FUN. Thanks again Brian. One last thing be sure to take cash to tip, with the price of gas they could easily tack on more to the price of the ticket. It's worth every penny.

I was pleasantly surprised by the wealth of detail covered in this tour. The air conditioned van (with a roof! unlike so many other tour vans) made the ride very comfortable. The guide was SO knowledgeable.. we thoroughly enjoyed this first-class tour of Hollywood.

My wife and I did not expect such a well thought out and entertaining tour. It was very informative with some humor thrown in. Listening to some of the recorded testimonies & depositions was chilling! Highly recommended!

Great tour. Lots of interesting stories and stops. Good balance of the humorous and the macabre.

We took my Mom for her birthday and I must say this was by far the best tour I have ever gone on. Our Tour guide, Scott Michaels was so much fun and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour. It was fascinating and we will be going again!!!
