Whale Watching in Blue Whale Season (May - Nov)

My wife, my parents, and I chose a Friday evening trip and couldn't have planned a better activity. We were fortunate enough to see and follow a Blue Whale! My parents were visiting from the midwest and this was a once in a lifetime experience that they will never forget. The crew was great and the boat wasn't too crowded- everyone had a chance to move into position to see the whale. We all highly recommend this experience.

No blue whale, but got to see a whole school of dolphins.

The weather was great and the tour was nice, but my son really wanted to see whales. We saw lots of dolphins and they chased the boat and were jumping which was very neat, but no whales. We saw the sea lions for a brief min. They all sat on a marker and we pasted them on the way back to shore. I'm not sure if they would have given us a voucher for not seeing whales, but they didn't offer it up, and at the end we were kind of rushed off the boat. It was fun but you probably could find a cheaper dolphin tour

Our family of 15 enjoyed the trip. (Ages 10 to 70) We saw no whales unfortunateley but several dolphins. the crew was very nice.

My wife and I went into this knowing we may not see whales. We thought it'd be a good way to spend our anniversary either way. However, we saw whales. The captain and his crew were able to find us whales and get us several good views of them while they fed. Part luck, and part skill of the crew. The crew was also knowledgable, giving facts about blue whales while we watched and between sightings. They also joined in the excitement with the rest of the guests all-the-while telling us what to look for and when to look for it over the loud speaker. It was fun, informative, and an all around very good experiece with a fun bunch of hosts.

Due to the weather , our trip had to be rescheduled and we received a phone message and e-mail. Unfortunately we did not see dolphins or whales on our trip this time, but did receive our "whale checks" to come back for another try. The crew was very nice and we still enjoyed our trip out to sea.

Well, my trip was one of those unfortunate outings where we didn't see any dolphins or whales. A rarity to be sure. Thankfully the crew was very good about pointing out other things of interest to make the outing enjoyable. And, because we didn't see any dolphins or whales we were given a whale check which is good until the end of time. All we have to do is come back and we get another outing FOR FREE. So yeah, I think while the trip was a bit disappointing the company is very good in making sure that their customers are happy. Oh, and the food on the ship is actually VERY TASTY. Did not expect that. Good job!

The boat ride was too expensive for what we got. an old boat, no seats to accommodate the passengers. The sea was very rough, many of the passengers scared and crying, no word from the captain or the staff. I will not take my family on this boat again as it is not safe for children.

We thought that it would be lots of fun. First the boat/vessel kept changing and they did not know which one was going. Very simple objective - You see even a few dolphins you are done. I am not sure what additional they show you other than being on the boat for two hours. It is over priced for sure, just to be on the boat and see some dolphins...

It was a beautiful evening. I and my daughter and her husband went out in search of whales-hopefully blues. Saw tons of dolphins, two pods heading toward one another and meeting. Fabulous to watch them cavort together and beside the boat. They are so curious and interactive. They swim sideways so that they can eyeball the humans in the boat! Delightful. No whales that evening but....you can't orchestrate nature!
