My 16 year old daughter recommended this tour.She has a great love for Blue Whales,but had only seen them on television and magazines.It was everything we expected.The crew made sure to point out the whales and we were right up close to the.Also got to see lots of dolphins.It was the highlight of our trip!

I was with my fiancee' on a date and we both love the water. We were definitely hoping to see some whales, but we didn't. We did, however, see dozens and dozens of dolphins that were very active and fun to photograph and watch play. We would definitely do this again and recommmend this to anyone.

We lucked out and saw many blue whales, fin whales and three types of dolphin. We had perfect weather. The captain was informative and enthusiastic. He stayed out past our 2 hour time because we were having such a special experience. We were very pleased!

Fun Whale Watching Trip

Our 2-hour trip took us down the coast off of San Clemente where we found a large black fin whale. We spent about 45 minutes watching him circle around the area eating krill. On our return trip we stopped and saw California sea lions resting on a buoy. Everyone on the catamaran had a good view. The crew gave a very informative narrative.

We had a really great experience! The weather was cool, the ocean was fairly smooth and we saw several dolphins along with several blue whales. It was the most amazing experience we've had on an afternoon outing. My family and I highly recommend this adventure!!

A life experience

We were already very happy on the trip out to the whale watching site, as we were followed by (literally, I promise) hundreds of dolphins. At times it seemed the ocean was made of dolphins! But once we found the blue whales, we were overwhelmed all over again. We saw several huge blue whales surface again and again, 'lunge feeding' with wide-open mouths to catch huge shoals of fish on the surface. It was a genuinely awesome sight - for once, deserving of the use of the word. Apparently seeing this behavior is very rare indeed, so we were doubly lucky.

We were really looking forward to see some dolphins and blue whales. After we spot 2 blue whales we were following them for 1,5 hours and after that we get back to the Pier. We read a lot off reviews and did expect much more from this trip.

Good trip but with no guaranteed results!

We enjoyed the trip - staff were friendly and knowledgable. Although they guarantee some sightings, they do not state of what. We were heading towards a group of dolphins, but changed course to track 2 blue whales. These we followed for the whole of the trip - we therefore did not see any other creatures. (The earlier trip saw dolphins, humpback whales and other whales). Although it was great to see the blue whales, they do not rise above the water much so all we saw was a bit of their "backs" each time they surfaced, which was disappointing to us, especially our son. There were no "money" shots of whales leaping out of the water, in fact the "grey blobs" in our photos could be anything! It was an enjoyable experience, but don't go expecting too much.

It was BREATH TAKING

This whale watching was the best experience in my life.! It was my birthday and I had an AWESOME day. It was a beautiful warm day, the skies were clear. I had been wanting to do something like this all my life ! Even with the boat in the dock in the harbor I loved watching all the pelicans and all the other birds. Once we got out into the waters.....WOW Dolphins were everywhere ! They swam right along with the boat just like they were playing and racing the boat. Farther out in the water we began to see the water sprays of the whales. We even saw a few with their babies ! This is something that everyone should experience once in their lifetime. The skipper of the boat was so informative about what we were looking at. And towards the end of our journey he heard of a humpback whale and the search was on !!! I was hoping to see one pop up out of the water, but I didn't this time,So I know I will schedule another trip just on the hopes that I do !! This trip was breath taking and so very glad I was able to experience it ! Kudo's to all that made it happen !!
