| If you want to get a seat, get there early (at least 45 mins). There is very limited seating available on the upper deck. Otherwise, be prepared to stand by the rail for 2 hours. The seating area below deck is very stuffy and will make you seasick even if you are not. Use the restroom before you leave shore. We saw lots and lots of beautiful common dolphins - that made the trip - no whales. The guide didn't have much to say but we didn't care. We paid half price on Tuesday night so it was worth it. We all had fun. Would do it again. |

| The boat captain was professional, courteous, knowledgable, and dedicated. We did find a whale to look at and that was exciting for someone who has never seen one before. The boat ride alone was a great way to pass the time. So even if we hadn't found a whale, the ride was nice. The price was not out of line. My wife and my son had a good time too. My wife did have one complaint. According to the trip description, brownies were supposed to have been handed out but we didn't get any. |

| We saw one blue whale...way, way in the distance, and the crew tried really hard to "catch it" before it made a dive, but didn't succeed.
We had a wonderful run with a huge pod of dolphins though...a great experience.
The crew was very jovial and accommodating. I would recommend, even if you don't see a whale!! |

| As a teacher, thought the explanations about sea life were informative. |

| Evening whale watch tour...saw thousands of dolphins, then TWO Blue Whales. Spent an hour with the whales...saw them up close, and could hear the sound of their blowing...a sound you will never forget...like a call from some prehistoric past. Too beautiful to describe...you have to do it yourself...highly recommend it. |

| The Dana Point Whale Watching cruise was the best adventure we have experienced in a long while. The captain and crew were outstanding and they knew where to go to see outstanding sea life. Great adventure for everyone. |

| Though we didn't see any whales we ran into hundreds of dolphins which were quite amusing to ride along side of. Weather and the sunset were awesome, and boat provided everything we needed with plenty of space to walk around. Quite a wonderful late afternoon journey. Great way to get away. Kids (and infant) loved it. |

| The captain did a good job but the two deck hands weren't with the program. One was busy spending time with his girlfriend and the other was drinking beer and smoking. We had to ask him to remove himself and his smoke from the passenger area. If the deck hands had spent more time looking for whales, we might have seen one. |
