| If you want to get a seat, get there early (at least 45 mins). There is very limited seating available on the upper deck. Otherwise, be prepared to stand by the rail for 2 hours. The seating area below deck is very stuffy and will make you seasick even if you are not. Use the restroom before you leave shore. We saw lots and lots of beautiful common dolphins - that made the trip - no whales. The guide didn't have much to say but we didn't care. We paid half price on Tuesday night so it was worth it. We all had fun. Would do it again. |

| We were very lucky, the weather was perfect and we saw lots of dolphins and several blue whales. The guide and crew were courteous and were able to put us at the right spot, at the right time for optimal viewing of the whales when they surfaced. The whole experience was wonderful and we highly recommend it. |

| We saw four whales during the 2 hour trip, each time we were so excited when we spotted them. Oh, bring your best camera, as I regret I only had my phone camera with me. Still, the photos are great and beautiful.
Crew members are very nice and friendly. A galley with snacks and drinks (yes, including alcohol) are very nice features for me, since I got there hungry.
When the trip was about over, we saw dolphins in the hundreds, jumping and swimming, which was a great view and brought a lot of excitements as well. The boat was comfortable. I think it well worth the time and $$. |

| When I first decided to go Whale Watching, I really didn't expect much. I thought that it would be something to do. I found that it was very relaxing on the boat as we headed out to see in search of whales and dolphins. As it turns out, we did see a whale. He was a 100 foot blue whale. He would go down for about 8 minutes and then surface again. Each time that he did this, the captain would let us know that he should be coming back up and to start looking for him. It was fun when he came back up since you never knew if he would be closer or would have traveled alittle farther along. It became a game of Find the Whale. It was quite enjoyable and I would definitely do it again. |

| I thought I was getting a great deal by paying $14 (half-price on Tuesdays) to see something that very few people in the entire world ever get a chance to see. |

| Overall a fun trip - we saw dolphins, sharks, and two whales which was more than we expected - so overall a success. The only criticisms of the trip would be the recommendation to get there at LEAST a half hour early as the trip leaves on time - because we stood on the dock for 45 minutes before boarding the boat, only to then depart 20 minutes late (which was expressly stated on the tickets that the trips depart ON TIME) and then stood on the ship for another 2 1/2 hours beyond that. If you are going to insist that participants arrive so early that they must stand and wait to board, you need to leave on time. The boats would be improved if there was also some limited amount of seating available. The crew was great, however, and the naturalist who spoke about the wildlife was knowledgeable and informative. Despite our frustration with the beginning portion of the adventure, I would definitely still recommend for the price. We also arrived back to port an hour later than the booking information stated, which was not a problem for us, but could have been if we had plans beyond the trip. Something to consider. |

| We had such a great time on our whale watching trip. We went out there expecting to see nothing, so as not to get our hopes up, and we ended up seeing so much! First, a huge pod of dolphins zooming all around the boat. Second a blue whale (wow!!) which we followed for a good half hour. Third, a buoy covered in sea lions. My kids were thrilled and even 3 days later can't stop talking about it.
For some constructive criticism, the only thing I wished was different is when the Blue Whale was directly in front of the boat, the only people that could really see it were the 5 or so people standing in the very front. There was no way to see around them or over them. I wish the captain had angled the boat just a little bit so that everyone along the sides could have seen too. I mean we did still see the whale, but we really had to strain and stand on tippy toes to see over people...and it was really tough for my kids to see.
Anyway, that was a minor complaint. It was a wonderful trip. The weather was perfect, the marine life was phenomenal, and the sunset was a gorgeous finale. I definitely plan to do this a bunch more times with my family. You can't beat $15 a person on Tuesday! |
