Activity Description
Join Dana Wharf Sportfishing, the originator of whale watching in Orange County, on our Brand New Catamaran. This trip has a Limited Load and is NEVER CROWDED!
The OCean Adventure is an eco-friendly, state-of-the-art catamaran, also available for Private Charters. Do not miss this one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience this trip. On the weekends as an added bonus we have added one of our certified naturalists, our lead naturalist is Moragn Ritchie who has a Masters degree in Marine Biology from Scripps Institute of Oceanography in San Diego. What ever day you choose the trip will offer you a rare mix of ecology, education and excitement.
During these 3-hour excursions in the midst of Grey Whale Season, you will be able to: (2 hour trips May-Oct)
- Witness the Grey Whales as they make their way past Dana Point and head to the lagoons of Baja California from the cold waters of the Bering Sea
- View a variety of marine mammals such as whales, dolphins, sea lions and various sea birds
- See marine-life using top-of-the-line underwater cameras
- Listen to the calls of whales and dolphins on our unique hydrophone
The 63-foot OCean Adventure is coast guard certified to carry up to 49 passengers and is fully equipped with a deli-style galley and full-service bar.
What Is Not Included?
Food and Beverages: The OCean Adventure features a deli-style galley that offers beer, soda, chips, candy, and cold deli sandwiches for purchase. There is also a full cash bar on board.
Feel free to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks on board, but coolers and ice chests are not allowed.
