Catamaran Adventure Whale Watching Cruises

I am a travel agent in BC Canada and we booked a tour plus orientation breakfast with Captain Todd. Could have sat and listened to him all day but a boat was calling our name! Great weather, and fantastic time out on the water. Saw whales and dolphins and spectacular coastal scenery. Really enjoyed it and for the price of $45 pp this is well worth it. Would do it again in a heartbeat. I will be recommending this area to clients who plan a trip in Southern California as it's definitely something they can do while enjoying a Disneyland vacation. I plan to connect with Todd and build a working relationship with Dana Wharf with the hopes of perhaps a group tour at some time. Tiffany in the office was a great help with giving directions and information when I called with questions before the tour. Thanks Tiffany! Look forward to doing another tour on another visit to this beautiful area.

I went on a field trip with my Marine Mammals class from OCC. It was my first time whale watching and I had no idea what to expect. I had a great time! The crew and captain were very friendly, informative and willing to answer any questions anyone aboard might have had. Even though we did not see any whales the day my class and I went out we were all given a non expirering voucher to come back another day in hopes of seeing one. I thought that was very generous of them :) We were lucky enough to see hundreds of common dolphins and then the sea lions as they were in their natural surroundings. I thought it was awesome how the captain explained characteristics of the marine animals and their traits they distinguish. I do plan on going back and bringing friends/family to experience the fun time I had.

We were a group of 6, and went on the Catamaran during the Whale Festival. While we didn't spot any whales, we saw a megapod of dolphin, which was pretty remarkable. The people on the ship are very friendly and informative. The ocean was calm the day we went making it even more enjoyable to be on the water. If you go, keep in mind that regardless of temperature on shore, it's always chilly and windy on the water.

The whale watch trip was incredible. The catamaran was the perfect size boat and was so comfortable. Our captain knew exactly where to take us and we saw whales and a huge pod of dolphins! It was a great trip and I am definitely going again.

It was great. We were showing a relative from Germany the California coast and decided to see some whales and we did. Also, hundreds maybe even thousands of dolphins. Neat stuff. The crew was great and informative. Very enjoyable experience!!

This trip was required for marine science class, but I enjoyed it more than I expected and will definitely go again just for fun!

The captain is so knowledgeable and is very well connected amongst boaters in the area - so he was able to listen to the radio to find out exactly where the dolphins and whales were located so that we could go see them. He found a pod of 1800 common dolphins, and it was so breathtaking! Would definitely do this tour again.

Lots of Dolphins ,,,, sea lions ...

I booked a whale watch trip to get to see whales, in the info they said there would still be some in that time but once in the catamaran they told us there were all gone. If I knew that i wouldnt buy it, i had seen dolphins many times before. I think you should be more honest with your ads. The trip was nice the catamaran very good and the crew perfect though

We are on the tail end of blue whale season and after looking at whale siteing reports with very few whales being seen, we still took the cruise. What an enjoyable time. The boat was excellent and the staff knew all about the dolphins and different animals we saw. I recommend this boat for the stability (less roll) and the crew. Well worth the money. Thank you for an enjoyable time.
