Catamaran Adventure Whale Watching Cruises

We took our two grandchildren, ages 5 and 6, on the two hour tour. It was outstanding. We had three whale sitings, hundreds of dolphins, a California Sea Lion and jelly fish. Our granddaughter enthusiastically said, "This is better than Sea World!!!" Of course, we agree wholeheartedly. A couple of young passengers were dealing with a little nausea. I think staying in the fresh air helps that.

We went on the catamaran on July 16 at 2:00. We were with our 8 year old grandson who is from Arizona. We saw several pairs of Blue Whales, we saw a Fin Whale and a large school of dolphins. It was spectacular! The crew did a great job explaining everything to us, including the large red spot in the water aka whale poop! It was so interesting! Our grandson had a ball too!

no whales but lots of dolphins up close and my 6 yr. old nephew loved it. for the adults, nice to get out after a long workweek, fresh air, and be out on the water. good variety of food options too. i'd do it again, whales or no whales!

This was my second time in the last 2 months going on the Catamaran. I thought the first times was awesome because we had 300 dolphins racing the boat, saw a menke whale and sea lions, but this second trip was amazing!!!!! We saw several groups of dolphins, but saw 3 humpback whales. We saw a mom and baby together that came right up to the boat! It was AMAZING! I recommend paying the extra money for the Catamaran! Friends have done others and say that they are not worth it, but the two times I have been on the Catamaran, I have had amazing experiences. My 3.5 year old nephew loved it and still asks about the dolphins, sea lions, and whales on the boat.

We appreciated the efforts by the crew to find the whales especially when it looked like we wouldn't see any that day. The crew went further on the excursion than they normally would. Also, the guide gave lots of information on the ocean life we saw. Thanks for a great trip.

The boat left on time. The weather was fine until the fog set in. The captain was enthusiastic, well informed and made the cruise quite enjoyable. It was fun to see a hugh pod of dolpins. The whale was too far south to get to. July isn't the best time of the year for whale watching. I highly recommend taking a sweatshirt, windbreaker or warm sweater to protect you should the weather get cold, which it did on our trip.

The catamaran is comfortable and safe and the crew informed us well. Unfortunately we didn't see any whales, but there were hundreds of dolphins which we had plenty of time to take pictures of. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

We were very luck to see a Blue Whale . The captain was great on informing us with details.

No whales but plenty of other mammals.
