Catamaran Adventure Whale Watching Cruises

We enjoyed our trip on the Catamaran. I believe the boat is fairly new and it showed. The guys running the tour were nice and made every effort to make the trip worthwhile. A whale had been spotted in the area, but it did not show itself on our trip. We did see plenty of dolphins, which were quite entertaining. We went with the expectation of only seeing water, so spotting anything was a bonus. We happened to be passing through on half price Tuesday, and it was definitely worth that. I would probably hesitate at the full price, but there are not many opportunities to get on the ocean in central Illinois!

I loved seeing so many dolphins. It was truly magical. I just wish I could have seen a blue whale...or any sort of whale really.

We took my wife's sister and three kids who were visiting from Phoenix. They had never seen dolphins in their natural habitat before. We went on a Tuesday and the tickets were half price. This was an outstanding bargain. Although we saw no whales, the dolphins were just awesome. We were able to get up close to these wonderful creatures by leaning over the bow rail of the boat as they rode along with the wake. The catamaran is great, very smooth and stable, the crew is friendly and professional. Everything about experience was first class and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to spend a couple of hours in the Pacific off beautiful Dana Point! We had such a good time my wife took another niece on the trip the following week.

We were fortunate to spot not one but two blue whales. We were able to see them many times and they are massive. This excusion is perfect for the afternoon. We had a great time and the crew was friendly and helpful

The ride was calming and very smooth. We saw two blue whales and tracked their activity for about one hour. The guides were full of knowledge and did their best to ensure that the whales could be seen from different angles. We were able to capture great pictures.

My wife and I went on a three day mini vacation to Laguna for our ten year anniversary. We scheduled the Whale watching for our last day. This two hour trip ended our vacation as it started {Completely Awesome}. We were fortunate to have a great Captain and extremely fortunate to see 4 blues and 2 Fin whales, not to mention the huge school of common Dolphin that were very playful. We spoke with others on board and found out that some had ventured out numerous times but never saw any whales, which is why we considered ourselves extremely fortunate to witness these gigantic mammals. It was the perfect whale watching trip to end a perfect 3 day vacation. Thank you Dana Wharf.

We saw six whales (including two babies) and many dolphins. The weather was gorgeous and the whole trip was wonderful.

Great boat, great crew, great sights.

We were very happy with our trip. The marine bioligist on board told us that we were very fortunate to have had the Blue Whale calf come so close to the boat. We were able to see 4 blue whales, dolphines and sea lions. The boat was very clean and cheerful crew. We missed our first scheduled time (traffic) and they easily moved us to the afternoon. We were very grateful.

The ride and tour were excellent. We saw a variety of wildlife including sea lions, dolphins and blue whales. The whale watching was the most spectacular I have ever seen. The naturalist giving the tour was also very good and informative.
