Catamaran Adventure Whale Watching Cruises

not really a whale watch.....good dolphin adventure.....good narration for them..I..would have like to know the frequency of a chance to see a whale or whales instead of " the capt worked real hard to find one yesterday".......or as we turned for port we were told " now we will go back and see the whale the capt spotted "..........which was really never brought up again as we returned to port with no further mention of any whale s.........i realize these sittings are hit and miss from other whale watch trips i have been on. clean boat,really courteous crew.

The Crew was great!

I didn't know what to expect but I was very surprised by the trip. Even though there is no guarantee that you'll find a blue whale, the boat captains did a wonderful job scouring every part of the sea to find one. We ended up finding a lot of common dolphins, a sunfish and a blue whale. It was an informative, fun cruise that I would highly recommend. You come away with a greater sense of sea life and how close they are to Orange County. I'm glad I went on the trip because I came away with some awesome photos and video footage that I will always treasure.

At least 8 times previously we have gone on whale watching cruises for Gray Whales. But the Blue Whales were so much more exciting, so much bigger, so much more active in hunting. A lot of what makes a whale cruise successful is luck. We were lucky, but also our captain scouted out the whales beforehand and the result was a whale experience we will always remember. Awesome wildlife, mere miles off Dana Point.

Good captains on the boat put us right on the whales only problem on Rhenish was that the front was overfilled

Crew went to a lot of trouble to find us a whale; however, the front of the boat was not big enough for everyone to have a spot at the rail. For those of us on the side or back of the boat there wasn't a whole lot to see since every time a whale was signted, they always turned the boat so that only those in front could really see it. It would have been nice if they occasionally positioned the boat so that others could see the whales better, rather than just those lucky enough to find a place at the front.

First, the crew was friendly, conversational, and knowledgable. We left the harbor and they explained the process they would go through to find whales. On three different occasions we ran in to dolphins but the whales. First we saw and followed a blue whale. While waiting for the blue whale to surface a minke whale crossed our bow. After numerous close sitings of the blue whale we headed in only to cross paths with either a large minke whale (or more likley a fin whale). What a day - we may have been lucky that day but the crew added to the experience - I highly recommend it.

Great captains. We saw blue whales, a Minko whale, sun fish, sealions and hundreds of dolphin! We were very lucky!

The service on board was tremendous. Very pleasant and knowledgeable crew. Ease of buying tickets and check in was also superb. I highly recommend this tour.
