My husband and I and our son took our friend and her son out on the whale watching boat--and loved the experience.
The boat was clean, the food was good, the extra $$ was worth it to have an uncrowded boat where we could really see the dolphins and whales "up close" without fighting for a space by the railings. The commentary was terrific--knowledgeable and filled with wonder and energy--as if he was seeing all of it for the first time with us. The whole tour was a great experience. |

Even though we didn't see any whales we had a wonderful time on our cruise. The captain and his shipmates were friendly and informative. The captain told us all about the common dolphins and sea lions we saw. The guy working in the galley was nice. It was great to have a smaller group on the boat and be able to move around as we pleased. I would highly recommend this cruise! It's great for everyone! |

New boat in great condition, very clean. Friendly, knowledgeable crew. Convenient snack bar and bathrooms onboard. Viewing area in the front of the boat is a little limited but, otherwise, very nice boat to go whale watching on. |

I went as a mandatory field trip for my Marine Mammals class, having Marine Science my major, I was so excited for this trip. I have always wanted to go whale watching and get up close and personal with the animals in their natural surroundings. I enjoyed the lecture and breakfast very much, I was touched and intrigued by the stories of the Grey whales in the lagoon in Mexico. Seeing footage of Grey whales coming right up to the boat and letting people touch them, is something I would dream doing. I found it beautiful and educational. However, I had kept in mind that this whale watching cruise of the Grey whales would not be that close and personal, but was let down immensely. The crew was very nice, and helpful, and the cataraman itself was wonderful, very spacious and clean. As we starting going, we were able to spot hundreds of dolphins in pods swimming past us. I was ecstatic! It was an amazing sight. Then encountered hundreds more, and more dolphins, but nothing else yet. As we started to close the trip, we did however spot a small shark! More dolphins, and birds, not a whale in sight. I was very disappointed especially because they had built up this idea that were so many whales being spotted and such. Then right as we were heading back, they say they know for a fact they saw a whale. Everyone jumped to the bow, and waited anxiously to spot anything that resembled a whale. Nothing. Then we headed back to the dock and it was over. I started to believe that maybe they just give us hope that we'll see whales but then say they're gone. I would still however love to go to the Blue whale watching cruises in Summer , in hopes of actually seeing a whale! But would hate to be let down again. I'm for sure going to Mexico to go touch those giant beautiful animals in person, and really interact and learn from them! |

Although other providers are a little less dollars, yours is a better value when it includes a pre-lecture of the events and a continental breakfast for the morning trip. Great way to start the day. |

I took my daughter on this trip for her fifth birthday with mixed group. Everyone had a great time! The crew was extremely friendly and gave us a ton of information on the whales we saw. The boat was beautiful and really well maintained and clean. |

We had the continental breakfast/lecture first. Then, the time on the water was nice. We had pleasant weather which made it perfect. And, we actually saw a whale for a bit. There was a huge pod of dolphins and several sea lions. The boat was nice with some snacks and beverages. It was an experience worth doing at least one time in ones life. |
