Catamaran Adventure Whale Watching Cruises

I have been to the gulf coast of Texas and went on dolphin watch tours which were pretty good. This adventure was the best. We saw hundreds of dolpins and the staff was extremely knowledgable on dolphins and whales. The interesting facts and all of the dolphins really made this trip worth while. I would highly recommend this for an afternoon outing.

I was very impressed with the dedication the skipper and his assistant had to the group. The assistant stayed on deck with us, and explained the type of animals we may be seeing. The skipper and the assistant kept in close contact with each other to ensure that sightings would happen. We saw 4 blue whales and were able to track them. The assistant told us about the blue whale and answered our questions. Quite frankly I would have been happy just being on the boat, but the crew went the extra mile to ensure that we had the best experience.

The boat was great.

kids (5 and 7) loved it. They at least saw one whale (bigger than boat) and several hundred dolphins. Highlight of trip to California.

We saw six whales (including two babies) and many dolphins. The weather was gorgeous and the whole trip was wonderful.

We took the 2-hour catamaran whale watching trip and had an amazing time! We saw multiple grey whales, including one that breached fully out of the water, and loads of dolphins (which were even more exciting to watch than the whales because they come so close to the boat). The catamaran is a little more expensive, but worth it due to a smaller passenger load and a marine biologist on board (Morgan). Morgan was a huge asset, as her knowledgeable commentary about what we were seeing was very helpful. One warning: the catamaran does move up and down significantly, even when idling in one place. It is very hard to get good pictures because of this and I actually missed 2 of the 3 breaches while I was messing around with my camara controls. Thank goodness I stopped, because I did witness the 3rd and final breach, which Morgan assured me was a most uncommon occurence. As one passenger said, " You'll always have the memory of what you saw and you can buy a postcard at the wharf taken with a better camara," Finally, while I wasn't seasick, the motion of this smaller boat is pretty noticeable...and it gets chilly on the water. Bring a sweater! Overall, a fantastic experience with a great company.

Even though we didn't see any whales, I still thoroughly enjoyed ALL the dolphins we were able to see. I can't remember his name, but the gentleman who told us all about what we were seeing was very nice and engaging. Would do it again

Amazing sights!

The boat crew was very professional, we departed and returned on schedule. and they were very informative. On our cruise the family and I saw some large fish hanging around the boat, then an entire school of Dolphins swimming next to, around and under the boat, some of them were diving out of the water and doing tricks. Finally we saw an enormous Blue Whale with it's gigantic tail coming up out of the water as it dived for food several times. All in all an amazing trip and great experience for the kids who were glued to the front railing the whole time.

The boat is really great. Captain and crew very knowlegable and helpful. They went out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience. I will go again.
