Catamaran Adventure Whale Watching Cruises

I really had my heart on seeing whales that day but I didn't. It was breath taking watching the two different types of dolphins playing. The weather was great and the captain was very informative with information he was sharing.

the 2 hour tirp was much more an 1 hour trip!! the trips are scheduled in such a way, that per default they are always much shorter than promised - the maximal possible time on the sea is 1,5 hours....!! this is serious cheating, but probable the wording in the web is legally ok.... the captian was nice and fun, the boat was fast and in a good shape, yet the captain did not really go the extra mile to really find whales or any intersting wildlife.... certainly there is luck in it, yet a bit more effort and time would go a long way...

Since we did not see any whales we get to come back for free, but if that was not available, we'd still do it!!!

The whole operation is very professional. Our captain was very knowledgeable and guided us directly to where he knew a whale to be. We watched this whale for at least half an hour. We also "played" with countless dolphins. The only complaint was that the optimal viewing was on the front of the deck, and one had to be a bit aggressive to get there. But overall, the whole experience was most amazing and wonderful. We had one of the most memorable times of our lives! Very highly recommended!

This cruise was a lot of fun. We saw dolphins and whales, and we were more than close enough for great photos and videos. Crew was knowledgeable and friendly.

Whale watching with your company had been highly recommended to me by a friend who had been out previously. I would like to say that I had an amazing time with you and that the photo opportunties were wonderful - I will also recommend you to friends visiting the area. The number of people on the boat was just right, not too crowded, the commentary was interesting and informative. (But I must just say that parking the car was a bit of a nightmare!)

I have been wanting to do this for many years and finally had the chance to go,,,,I loved the experience! The boat ride was great, even though I was a bit frightened of getting sea sick. We decided to get some Dramamine just incase and the ride was just fine, it worked ,,lol! Id would suggest this to all , its worth the $ to see at least once. We saw about three differnt whales and lots of dolphins. I would say its a MUST at least once!

This was the highlight of my family vacation to sothern California! We had a day off from a local theme park and I saw an advertisment for this cruise and convinced my family that we should try it. We had the best time. The crew seemed to know the waters well and were very personable. We were amazed by the hundreds of dolphins we saw and amazed at how close they came to the boat. We also saw several sea lions basking on a buoy near the end of the cruise. The best part was being able to see a pair of blue whales - a mother and her calf. We got close enough to hear them breathing! The crew knew the whales' behavior well enough that they could tell when the whales would come to the surface. One of the crew did say that the combination of beautiful weather, clear water, and the number of animals sighted made this particular trip in the top 5% of the cruises he had been on. We would recommend this cruise to anyone who wants to see the amazing sea life off the coast of California.

What an amazing two hours. Nothing disappointing about it whatsoever. And Captain Larry is the best-knowledgeable, friendly, charismatic, and nice looking to boot!

We've been out whale watching with Dana Wharf many times, and have never been disappointed. Even on cruises when we haven't seen any whales, the crew does its very best to make it an enjoyable trip, and will seek out (enormous!) pods of dolphin or other sea life to share with the visitors. On our most recent trip this weekend, though, we saw more blue whales than we could keep track of. Through the entire two hours, Captain Larry shared all kinds of interesting facts and information about them as well. It was a trip that we'll never forget!
